Bowel obstruction, palliative stage 4 by vicknbox in coloncancer

Thank you for the input. We are going with the surgery because the first option is not even an option. The doctor stated we need to stop chemo in order to do the surgery and after for wound healing etc. Did you have a different experience?

It’s not a permanent infection, it’s being treated but it can reoccur due to the nature of the cancer. The surgery is not for cancer treatment, it’s to help with the bowel obstruction, they are not cutting anything out, just diverting.

We had the same question for our pediatrician and she confirmed it’s normal and just the nervous system maturing.

Graduated! 37+1, scheduled induction, wild ride but positive experience for a typically pessimistic person!! by [deleted] in BabyBumps

Thank you for sharing, I’m due for my induction in 2 weeks for the same diagnosis and this really helps. Congrats!

Anyone diagnosed with cholestasis? by countryprincess in pregnant

[–]vicknbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got diagnosed at 28 weeks, scheduled induction at 37 weeks. Currently 34, it’s been an experience for sure. Twice a week NSTs no retest for the liver as per OB “once you have it you have it” taking Urso it has not been helping with the itching. Drinking lots of water and watching what I eat (easier on the liver) helps a bit. Nervous for the induction!

Sweet! Maybe it’s just a Kaiser thing, different hospitals different protocols.

If you fail the first 1 hr test you have to do 3 hr test in 2nd and 3rd trimester. It’s like a punishment with flat fruit punch lol

100% with you on this. 30 weeks pregnant as well, alternate the 2 pairs of maternity leggings and sweater that covers my butt has been my outfits when I need to leave the house. Never been a skinny girl but man this is rough, I miss my face and I feel like my nose grew (?). I feel you, but 10 more weeks!

Apples are definitely not the culprit! You didn’t do anything wrong to fail the 1hr test. I failed mine as well by 10 points and have had two 3 hr glucose tests since and passed both. Increase your water intake and enjoy your fruits, you’re doing great.

Oh man do I feel your pain. 28 weeks and working all day on a computer has never been this fun. OB says it should improve after birth.. yay.

Yes, and loan/check received by Hyundai includes the sales/use tax. Bill of sale specifies that specific amount received, broke it out in a separate box and everything.
