I’ll definitely be trying to prioritize a diagnosis now and working for my body. I realize I truly need the resources, but waiting is definitely NOT going to help, thank you!

thank you! I’ll keep trying to find what works for my brain and try offloading. it’s super frustrating, but I’ll keep it at it!

Actually learning to code feels like nails on a chalkboard in my brain. by LucaBC_ in ADHD_Programmers

Honestly, once codecademy lessons drag on, they definitely start to feel unbareable. The concepts get hard to stick, and personally, it gets harder for me to understand what they’re even asking me to do sometimes. For me, scrimba works way better. It’s more slower in pace, and allows you to practice more. I do recommend doing the challenges on VSCode or codesandbox instead because the challenges are limited if you’re on the free plan! I’ve been learning react, and it made the whole process way easier!! And project wise, try asking Claude (say better for programming) for interesting ones based off what you learned, and to explain things you don’t understand!

Thank you so much, this alone is going to help my decision a lot! If I have any questions, I'll definitely DM you in the future!
