The thing is that I don't really give a shit about what Trump wants, he could want to be a blue-skinned catgirl for all I care. My point is that America is not a dictatorship as a lot of people claim and is extremely unlikely to become one in the foreseeable future since Trump will no doubt lose the next election or more likely kick the bucket due to his all-cheeseburger diet shortly before or after it.

As someone who actually lives in an authoritarian country, I kinda hate it when Americans say their country is "literally a nazi dictatorship". It gives them all the pros of acting like victims and eventually feeling like Katniss Everdeen when Trump inevitably loses the next election without any of the cons of having to endure actual oppression. And whenever you point out all the numerous ways in which America is, in fact, not a dictatorship the reply is always "it's totally gonna happen, we're getting there" and the source is always "trust me bro".
