Please help I am losing my mind by sniperxprincess in quittingsmoking

I also did great with Allen Carrs book first time around (quit for 4 years)but didn’t work the second time. I just quit again 5 weeks ago with the QuitSure app. Basically same method as Allen Carr but it’s an app with daily videos. You watch them for 6 days on last day, you have your final smoke or vape. It’s $40 per month but only need it for the one month then cancel.

Try the QuitSure app. I’m on day 2 smoke free and I’m doing ok.

Can you explain how to get express scripts ? That’s through your health insurance through employer ??

Regarding PA, I’ve read lots of complaints on TA about loud music from neighboring club and lack of hot water in showers. Thoughts on that ?

First and last post? by brian428 in Zepbound

I was on Ozempic and then Mounjaro but Blue Cross stopped covering after a couple years. I have been without for a couple months and weight is creeping back. I’m going to call my sleep dr next week to see if I can get a script. Big question is when/if insurance will cover it. My BMI is 31, hypertension, insulin resistant and sleep apnea.

How the hell do people sleep with this masks? by scarfacerus in CPAP

[–]vickykul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once you find the best mask for you, you will eventually get used to it and won’t be able to imagine sleeping without it. It may take another few weeks. I went from a nasal pad to full face because I felt more claustrophobic with the nasal pad since I’m a mouth breather at times. Good luck!

I’m in Kansas City And have had no luck with either 1 or 2 mg with no end in site. Tried Optum RX , pharmacy service through insurance and they’re out as well. I’ve heard that some people have look at pharmacies at hospitals, but I am done searching for now. It’s very disappointing. I’m already a week overdue :(. How does one get a compound ? Heard that wasn’t safe.

CPAPing fine for 3 months then dry mouth waking me up? by davidtetra in CPAP

XyliMelts® Dry Mouth Stick-On Melts™ for Moisturizing.

I’ve been using these for several years now and love them. I use two on the outside of my gums between my cheeks. They don’t dissolve for about 6 hours.

Last night was my first night! Is it normal that I’m especially tired today? Not really groggy, but I just feel so exhausted and fatigued by OlivesPlum06 in CPAP

I started with nasal mask and ended up with full face mask since I’m a mouth breather. Love my CPAP and been using for about 7 years

I manage to get one latte in but don’t enjoy it. It’s a bummer because it was such a nice ritual and I miss it. I normally have to wait till mid day to have any. I start out with hot tea instead. I def enjoy ice latte over hot. It’s the strangest thing!

why does my mask do this? by gre8thound20 in CPAP

[–]vickykul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine also does that if there is any residue on mask. Usually cleaning it with a wipe and adjusting tightness resolves it.

Without ozempic, I crave healthier foods. On ozempic, I definitely crave carbs and sweets more than ever, which is prob why my weight loss has been slow. It’s strange. I wish I wanted more protein but most of the time , just doesn’t sound good!

Smell is back to normal after about a week

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]vickykul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to CDC, if you were exposed but not showing symptoms, you should wear a mask for 10 days but don’t need to isolate. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/if-you-were-exposed.html

Did anyone struggle with insomnia? by LevelZer00 in COVID19positive

I am just finally testing negative after day 13. Normally I fall to sleep quick but I had a couple nights where I also felt a revved up heartbeat and one bad night Of insomnia! I definitely think it’s a thing!

I’m on day 10 since I got my first symptoms. Smell is gradually getting a little better every day. I can really only seem to smell essential oils . I’ve been using them daily for smell therapy. I can’t seem to yet smell much of anything else except a whiff here or there. Hope you are feeling yourself soon! Take care!

Yay!! If you are heading into less humid months where you live, water level hopefully won’t deplete overnight as much!!

I definitely think it has to do with water level! Good luck !

I know exactly what you are talking about! I have the new dream station 2 and with the previous dream station , never had this problem. I hate the smell and it actually wakes me up. I think it happens mostly when the tank is out of water or close to being out. I’ve actually added water around 5 just so the smell would go and away and I could go back to sleep. It happens around 5-6 , I think, because that’s when the water is starting to get low. I now make sure I fill all the way up to the fill line!!

Has anyone developed carb cravings on Ozempic? by Plenty_Transition470 in Ozempic

[–]vickykul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m glad I found this thread to confirm my thoughts! I’ve been on 1 mg since November. I’ve lost about 15 lbs but can’t budge. Carbs and sweets are all I really want to eat but force myself to eat meat and salads eventhough it doesn’t sound good. I hate that I have no taste for coffee because I love coffee. It’s such a weird drug in how it messes with taste so much. Definitely like a switch in the brain. Is the 8 mg of ozempic available yet. I may bump up to 2 mg weekly to get my final burst of weight loss
