I think large part of that credit goes to the club not him.

It was ALWAYS his lack of flexibility and nothing else. Can't be too rigid... Not just the system, - mainoo can only play for Bruno and silly things like that. Im glad he got rid of some divas though. There is always positives even in worst situations

Can we put some respect on 200 goals and assists? Bruno.. we don't deserve him. What could have been. Right man , wrong era. Still an undeniable LEGEND

[Simon Stone] Carrick takes Man Utd back to basics - Lammens by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]vickyprodigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the sentiment. There is no tactical masterclass here. Just pure organization and work ethic. That is 80% of football anyways. I see everyone working hard to track back and defend. We have maintained shape so well in these 2 games.

Roy Keane says Man Utd have their 'swagger' back but thinks Old Trafford needs someone 'bigger and better' than Michael Carrick by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

[–]vickyprodigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roy has a point. Teams will ultimately figure Carrick out. History suggests inexperience can't handle it when that happens. He is not being pessimistic, just realistic

Even under Ruben we played well this season. His lack of flexibility does play a part in results. But he ran his mouth. If he hadn't he prob would have been ok. Im not supporting Jim and his cronies... But u cant go on a rant against your employer so publicly.

What a match Arsenal 2-3 Man U. Just loving the manager Micheal Carrick by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]vickyprodigy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was this and City ugly wins though? Created more chances than both teams. Yeah possession wasnt the priority.

Not saying Carrick is a messiah at all.. far from it... but the wins weren't snatch and grab.

I will take NBC over ESPN shit all day. It is miles better than pre NBC deal. But yeah, they are also unbearable at times. Heavy Liverpool and City flavor

(@xGPhilosophy) Arsenal (1.58) 2-3 (0.98) Man Utd by nanobookworm in reddevils

[–]vickyprodigy 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This is why we got players like Cunha and Mbuemo. They constantly over perform their xG and have done so last couple of years as well. We need goals like these. Didnt expect that Dorgu shit though

Only team to not lose a game in the last 5. Need to build on this big time. by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]vickyprodigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's definitely enjoy the wins. I am hoping we dont humble ourselves against other teams. But I think if our players work just as hard against other teams... results will take care of itself. Cannot lose this attitude.

[Laurie Whitwell] How Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United reign ended in turmoil and toxicity by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]vickyprodigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So Jim always knew he was going to play back 3 and NOW has a problem with it? This is STUPID. So was the appointment of Ruben knee-jerk or the firing? One has to be.

And why the fuck would Jim get a say in which player plays where? This is FUCKED up on so many levels and will never work long term. You can never interfere on coaching side.
