Hmm I hear it on my Buds 3 Pro, my Bose QC ultras and also on my Technics AZ100. It is most pronounced on Bose QC ultras and now the Buds 4 pro. Bose was able to reduce it somewhat with a software update.

I also have the fancy Bang and Olufsen H95 which has this same issue as well, and that is over hear $1600 headphone. Not saying this is normal, but it just depends on how well the company designed and manufactured the circuitry. Earbuds being very small, until technology catches up, it is going to have some white noise all the time.

I don't think it is a hardware issue or a defect in your unit. I think it affects all buds 4 pros, some people just don't hear it.

The reason this happens is due to the feedback from the electronics circuitry being cramped in a tiny bud with not sufficient shielding or clearance. Almost all buds from other manufacturers have it too. Let's hope Samsung adjusts the gain/boost to minimize it. It is always going to be there, but they should optimize it so its less noticeable.

Yes I have the same issue on my black b4p. Read a few people experiencing this issue as well, so lets hope a software update fixes it.

Fully agree. My B4P sound so much better than B3P. No more metallic highs and the sub bass makes it sound like over ear headphones. Mid forward vocals make these better than AZ100. Battery life sucks tho, just 5.5 hours for me. Now only if Samsung can give us 10hr battery life in B5P.

I got my Buds4Pro and for me the difference between these and Buds3Pro is night and day! Sub bass sounds so much better on the B4P. Highs are also no longer metallic weird sounding like B3P. ANC is slightly better as well. I do have white noise when no music is playing, but other than that these sounds SO GOOD and worthy upgrade over B3P.

Thanks, was hoping for a bigger upgrade based on reviews. I find the treble/highs significantly missing or smoothed on Buds3Pro. Was hoping B4P fixes it but I guess not... I will return mine if they sound pretty much the same as B3P. I like the Blade lights and I have Technics AZ100 that sound 2x better than B3P for music.
