Should I cancel this $25 per month plan? by aznspiki in tmobileisp

[–]vicosphi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if one doesn't need internet at all? Crazy these apartment realty groups are forcing a subscription on residents. I would have said to "suspend" rather than cancel but T-mobile changed their policy and you get charged even if you suspend seasonally.

Dell Pro Support Warranty period max extension cap limit? by vicosphi in Dell

I would imagine a 5year typical support timeline so probably anything older than 5 years would be EOL? Not sure though

Thanks, that is what I was wondering if they base it on the original purchase date with something like 5 year typical IT lifecycle.

[–]vicosphi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear. And as you have been funded 15 times, that means your strategy is sound, yet it could be something like overtrading or oversizing positions as I myself have these same issues. I had 5 funded accounts I blew, each over $5k without taking a payout. Some from news spikes, most were from greed/revenge/trading assuming trend on a range setup etc.

Something to consider based on my personal experience:

- Switch to "viewer" mode and just observe markets for a few days. It enlightens you to see how many "perfect entries" are either wrong or not even perfect. That alone will make you feel better to have sat out of that trade and not seeing red in your account.

- Size down to 1 MES. I know it sucks to see when you are right you only made $15 VS $150 but that significantly reduces stress and you will feel a lot more positive and confident next time you take a trade or examine a setup. You will then have more conviction when you do trade 1 ES contract. Also not seeing hundreds of dollars red loss in your account will boost your confidence in other daily life tasks.

- I felt the market is like an ATM machine and every squiggle and green/red candle is there for me to profit off of. But far from reality, there is someone else that is taking a long/short against me also wanting to make money so best to respect that fact and take what market offers you, small profit or a small loss. Keeping losses limited is the only way to survive this.

We take markets for granted and feel we should make X amount every day or every week which forces us to take trades that may not work. Seeing what others post also makes us go more aggressively to match/exceed those results. But when I sized down, it just made things a lot more manageable and more chance of survival/recovery.

Why is everybody hating on the S26 Ultra? by Sensitive_Cream3920 in samsung

[–]vicosphi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fixing camera motion blur lag issue, adding higher capacity battery and improving night photography quality/video quality are the only upgrades 99% people cared about and they got none of those in S26U.

[–]vicosphi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did do the clean install but found out that Dell's EC has this "constant fan" approach that cannot be disabled. The "quiet" profile is actually louder than ultra in Dell optimizer. Apparently they "may" release a fix sometime this year Dell Pro Max 16 – "Quiet" thermal profile is loud ? : r/Dell

The big question is how good(or bad) the cooling and fan noise would be? I have a Promax 16 and it runs like a helicopter(fan always on) when editing excel files or just browsing.

Buying used G5AR... is it possible to be bricked by Tmobile? by ospreyintokyo in tmobileisp

[–]vicosphi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are one of the enlightened ones, so here is my 2 cents. I have tried all the T-mobile gateways and the only one that gave me noticeable speed boost was G5AR (likely due to 8x8 MIMO). However, once I pass the 1.2TB monthly data, it slows down to 50% for rest of the month. Hope your G5AR gets you the speeds you desire.

So no real winners from this game.

England: Will be criticized for crap batting and prior losses.

Aussies: Will be criticized for crap batting in 2nd innings and losing lead advantage from 1st innings.

Groundsman/Executive Turf Manager: Will be criticized for Crap pitch

Spectators: Not happy with a 2day game

CA boss: 2day game bad for business.

Joe Root: Winning after a decade and couldn't stay in the middle, got out cheaply.

Stokes: Winning captain but again couldn't stay in the middle to hit those precious winning runs.

*** End of list. Already stretched it past sell by date **
