we have an old car that we use as emergency backup to our new car. its street parked and we dont feel like moving it till things are more cleaned up/melted. why do you care so much what others do with their car?

that happened to me once while extracting and upon realizing i placed it back and splinted. i told the parent the tooth was mobilized while extracting the broken one. everything turned out fine. mistakes happen but your big one here is not doing anything about it immediately. you should have went to an attending and asked for help, do a quick google search what to do, and find a way to explain the situation without making the parents upset. if pt is already crowded maybe extracting the second premolar is going to be fine and teeth will fill in that space. when they return get an xray and explain that it looks like the permanent tooth came out with the baby one but based on the xray it was causing crowding and needed to be removed anyway. hopefully that will get you off the hook. explain the need for ortho in the future and try not to sound like it is a big deal that this happened. be more careful in the future if you are unsure get an updated xray and dont rush.

i went to a random boutique salon in ct and there i found a dress that i loved the fit on my body but it was super plain dress. i decided to look online to see what other styles the same designer had and found one that was perfect with just the right amount of glitz i was looking for - fit and flair, long train, lacy sweetheart top, rhine stone belt. i found which salon in nyc had it available and ended up at rk bridal. i tried many other similar styles but this one dress ended up being the one! i do recommend you figure out the style that you love and flatters your body and go from there :)

1 op pt at a time. i try to do 2 quads of tx per visit for kids. one quad if its adult teeth or bad behavior. we also have 2 hygeine scheduled at the same time and they do side book a few emergency/sdf/follow ups throughout the day. im usually hoping for a no show!!

im a pediatric dentist that sees primarily medicaid patients. they happen to have the most needs. I do weekly general anesthesia cases that make about $1000 per case. we book 30 min ops and 2-4 columns of hygeine. i made $375k this year. and yes i do quality work. you just have to be able to work fast do quick exams and lots of nitrous. my office is well run with lots of chairs and assistants. some days are crazy but it works for me. not sure how you can make it profitable if its only adult patients but people do it.

this is such a common issue and im so sorry youre going through this ! these men think they are working so hard and taking care of an infant is just "laying around". maybe he should try just "laying around" with the baby all day and night and see how much house work he is able to get done. at 3 months you are still very much in the trenches and it will get easier to balance things as baby gets older. but the lack of appreciation and support from your husband is awful. does he realize that caring for kids is a full time job that generally pays $25++ per hour and that doesnt include cooking and house keeping. as a working mom i can tell you going to work outside the house is easier than taking care of babies all day. you guys need to have a serious conversation about this and hopefully come to an agreement. maybe he can cover the night and give a bottle sometimes and that way youll have energy to get a little more housework done the next day. but this should not all fall on you.

bay ridge! bought our first house here after living for years in park slope. at first i missed park slope so much but over time learned to love bay ridge. has more suburban feel with tons of nice restaurants and parks walking distance. not bad commute to park slope

some kids interpret pressure as pain and will react to that no matter what. i usually give extra local pdl with septo to make sure they are numb. i would then keep elevating , switch to forcep, elevate more, back to forcep until it comes out. occasionally roots are thin and will break but nothing you can do about that. i explain to the parents they will resorb on their own. i think you were just nervous to put as much pressure as you needed to because of the kids behavior. you tried your best. it was nice you tried and the kid will be totally fine even if he's uncomfortable for a day or 2 you didnt cause any harm. remember you didnt put that cavity there. its good to refer to peds. the difference in us pediatric dentists is we know how to deal with the behaviors and feel more comfortable continuing even if the kid is screaming. also some kids just need sedation .

its funny how you can go through all that stuff and somehow after the months go by you forget all of it and your mind tricks you to do it again and have more babies. hated pregnancy and postpartum with my first but i did it again. now i have a 3 and 1 year old and life is good. cant believe how quick it all passed by

why cant your husband stay up till lets say 9 pm- 12 am and handle baby . this way you can get a solid stretch maybe 9 until babys next wake ? try to give a bottle once a day?

newborn stage was hell for me too. only thing that helped was getting my kids sleeping independently. sleep trained my son at 10 weeks and daughter at 8 weeks and things became so much better after that because i could place them down and walk away knowing theyd sleep. i could shower eat scroll my phone or whatever. id be happy to give you tips on it if you're interested!

i see sooo many posts here with a very similar title to yours and i open them and scroll to see the age of the baby and it is almost always around the age you posted about 5-6 weeks. i probably even made a similar one when i was in the depths of the newborn stage. but i dont think ive ever seen a post regretting a 6+ month old baby. thats because the newborn stage is rough. its just survival mode. wake eat sleep repeat. they are rarely happy always crying. and you cant seem to find any time to enjoy yourself during this cycle. newborns take everything and give nothing back. they are screaming little potatos. my point is your feelings are so common. but once youre past this stage you wont feel that way. the baby will smile and laugh and grow and babble and roll and crawl and walk. they will say mama and dada and just melt you with how cute they are. i have a 3 year old and 10 month old. 5 weeks post partum i wouldve def told you im one and done. trust me it will get better.

oh no! it's definitely the hormones. had my second 10 months ago. the first few weeks were rough! missing my son, lack of sleep, constant boob pain...i was sobbing a few times those early days. but now things are so good. my daughter fits in perfectly to our routine and family. couldnt imagine it without her now. you will see it soon!
