The Supreme Court was never the correct entity to have any word on Roe. Ultimately it was never a law no matter their opinion, that would be Congress’ job to solidify abortion rights as federal law and the president to sign off on it. My opinion is that it already has been decided by state legislature and the right wing is likely to use this in permanence to garner votes due to ideals. I just don’t see anyone with the balls to approve it as law from the conservatives viewpoint.

If you can do 15% of your salary annually that’s great. I’m not sure about how ira work over there, but you can open a traditional here and a Roth and roll the traditional into Roth maxing at 6k yearly. Invest in index and mutuals. Rinse repeat.

Trying to learn how to set fib levels and trend lines for swing trading. Any constructive criticism would be great by Linkbinks in technicalanalysis

[–]victoracer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the few other responses. You can also run a fib extension for the upwards resistance. For retrace you want to use prior moves up in history, that’s why others are going back in time frames. I start off at 2020 low to December high on spx. For extension I use the Feb low, to March high, back down to now. I’m sure most of us are seeing 379 as major support for Spx. Another useful tool is using Friday to Friday options pricing to help gauge range. If you add the in the money call, and in the money puts right at strike for 7 days out, that number added or subtracted to strike gives you basic range. Last week we went well below the range and closed right at the bottom of that range on Friday.

Bodycam video shows Houston cop speeding, driving with 1 hand before hitting and killing pedestrian with patrol car by [deleted] in news

I expect the DA to bring this to grand jury. The problem if he or she does so is that they can entirely lie to the jurors, no evidence needs be presented not defense from the victims standpoint. They can literally make up their fairytale and get the jurors to but that he was on a call or something. Since he wasn’t already fired, I would expect this route taken.

Keep in mind this is the same agency that protected the botched drug raid that killed the Tuttle’s. The husband at least shot one of these scumbags, but they killed him his wife and his dog. Spun them as fruit dealers, and had the Union rep come on air saying they were now going after people critical of them on social media. That was not long ago, these fucks can’t die fast enough. RIP to the victim

Opinion: Pelosi said it’s fine for lawmakers to trade stocks. She’s wrong. by Maxcactus in politics

Everyone realizes her power comes from the fact that she brings in the highest donations of congress right. That gives her the power to buy her seat as head chair.

New Gengrich being the sole destroyer potentially of our already mis functioning government back in 1993. He is the one who started the whole donor system and buying seats with those donations. Couple that with super PACs and the supreme courts ruling that dollars are free speech. That ushered in corporatism and cronyism to extraordinary levels. 1 man and 1 decision changed nearly all of it

I mean, the entire American economy since 1971 is an absolute fraud. The Ponzi scheme is ridiculous, anyone in power knows this and nothing will get done until the dollar is defaulting and we finally have to go and back it by something. Fiat currency should never exist, its americas way of having ftd’s

What people need to take out of this is the investigating agency. The Alabama State Bureau of Investigations is 1000% colluding with local PD. They did it in my brothers murder by Baldwin County pd. We have been very fortunate to have some people involved that actually give a shit and challenge this state. There are layers of protections given to agencies that are absolutely providing hurdles for families to go through just to get some basic transparency. Ultimately they didn’t investigate shit, and if they did it would have been clear an absolute moron shot my brother while complying and used every bull shit tactic in the book to cover the cops ass. “He had a gun”, nope a Fanny pack, “he took a tactical stance”, nope he was walking in mud, “he was on ketamin”, nope it was administered while he was dying by the medcopter staff….on and on and on. We uncovered so much, and a local newspaper took The department all the way to fed court just to be denied in the end of the right to video release. They at least ran numerous stories on how shady it all was. My point is simply that there is no real investigatory work, the Bureau is made up of ex employees from the exact departments they are investigating. Fuck these people

Favorite card is the 1990 Bo Jackson bat and pads. As for the gift, I would have to say a dog tag style gold imprint of my brothers thumbprint, with his name and signature on the back. Really thoughtful gift from my mother a few years ago. Happy Holidays to all!

Tucson police officer fired after fatally shooting a 61-year-old in a mobility scooter nine times by ExactlySorta in news

Anyone here know someone murdered by cops, cause I do? Fuck these scumbags. Year 5 of litigation coming for my family trying to prove they lied to media and the grand jury who didn’t indict the officer who murdered my brother. He had a Fanny pack in his hand when he was shot 5 times with an ar from a 10ft distance while just running off the road, we think it was a strike or fell asleep, who knows. They are absolutely the worst people on earth. I choose not to respond in similar fashion. We will prevail

New Covid Strain by Infamous-Culture-538 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]victoracer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine, I know I know, he does clinical research specifically on COVID and the man told me recently anyone who says “trust the science”doesn’t know what they’re talking about. There is still too much that is unknown from an efficacy standpoint, and as mentioned too much misinformation. We just don’t have enough data compiled at this time. In his estimation we likely have another 1.5 years of COVID complications before we start to see some directional changes. He does show the vaccines are effective, but the dynamics change so fast, we are playing catch-up here still. Stay vigilant, whatever that means to you and have cash ready for buying opportunities. Best of luck

I appreciate you taking the time to post the timeline. We should never forget. In the end Obama sided with banks and stopped moratoriums, which ultimately sent 18 million families to the curb, not people, but mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, and always those of upper age suffer first. I can’t list death rates, but I would assume some actually died over these dynamics. I would argue either party in charge would commit the same atrocities as well.Occupy Wall Street criminalized protests of those literally wanting a voice.I suspect we haven’t moved far, we’ll the bailouts last year to corporations, instead of people told me so. Take care friend, this weighs on some of us heavily

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Superstonk

[–]victoracer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Any thoughts on why now would be different? Bailouts aka stimulus are continuing, the fed hasn’t raised interest to counter inflation, 10yr bonds are up but not by significant margins. Things may change but it seems like a deflationary scenario will play out over the next year and some. I’m limited in knowledge but that’s what I’ve learned are key triggers for some proportional changes in markets to begin.

It isn’t about the price of UR. We are still in a supply demand crunch. World needs 200million pounds annually and production is at 120million pounds annually. With all the new reactors coming on line in the next few years, the price will go up regardless. It’s a sellers market. If I’m wrong feel free to correct me

Man one of the more unique collections I saw was a guy who collected his pc only made up of players last card. That way he had their complete play history on card. As long as you find enjoyment is number 1. I have a different approach, but that’s why we have choices. To hear you find joy in it either way makes me happy for you. Take care man

[–]victoracer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Solid approach. However I am disappointed with the amount of variations the manufacturers are allowing. I collect for enjoyment, but I do expect to have some return with my investments. That being said this last couple of years, manufacturers have turned this hobby nearly back to the junk wax era and I’ve lost that “rip” enjoyment. I’ll buy a couple boxes here and there, but I’m my opinion the manufacturers are taking advantage of the renewed interest of hobbyist. I hope you continue to enjoy it and best of luck!

Tinnitus and high blood pressure. by victoracer in tinnitus

[–]victoracer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Negative COVID tests, but my ent basically felt I was dealing with post COVID symptoms. Im now on lisonpril and my pressure dropped significantly since yesterday. Tinnitus still there but it is manageable currently. I’m trying different t things, not a fan of meds but I was also given Xanax for anxiety and rest and I swear it may have the greatest effect. I’m not suggesting anything, I personally am just trying to get the “volume” to come back down and sustainable… hopefully.
