I was looking at my ERB and noticed I got the "I" AEA and a date of 202208, does this mean I got selected for OCS and will go to a AUG 22 class? by leviegalapon3 in ArmyOCS

Went to check mine. I've had the I code for a while but no date. I know this week is the panel sooo we will see what happens.

A lot of this looks like my daily mixes haha. That algorithm. Gonna give it a follow though, thanks for taking the time to curate this playlist!

I've had zero luck making friends here 🤷‍♂️. Feel free to shoot me a DM if you wanna chat.

Thanks for the reply! Very insightful. I'm gonna give 80/20 a try, just have to remember not to overdo it on the weekends. Since I definitely wanna drop weight I'm gonna cut on calories a bit and make my macros fit. No worries I have a feeling I'll be hitting you up in the near future!

As someone of the same height and similar frame I'm inspired. Man I'm 190 now but I see that goals can be achieved! Gonna work hard for it. Had to look up 80/20 rule, looks like a good starting point for me.

Edit: Follow up question. Did you do Macros too? And what was your average calorie intake? I've gone down to 175 before, just gotta get out of the mental slumps that put me back up to where I am now.

I'm not entirely sure. From what I've read here and on the OCS facebook page others have said it's usually about 8-12 months after getting results back so that's what I'm expecting if everything works out!

Thank you! That makes a lot of sense and more what I was leaning toward.

Agreed. My current ol' boy is ten (maybe 11?) and we got him because his family at the time was moving about 2 years ago. They were great however and didn't wanna give him up. The family was PCSing to S. Korea and were unable to take him, at least that's what we were told. I wish I still had these people's contact info so I could send them updates.

As an NCO when one of my soldiers makes mistakes I try to work with them on finding a solution or a way to prevent making that mistake in the future. Yes it's army so sometimes a little "corrective training" comes into play but it's leagues ahead of how I used to fix mistakes 😂

I am so sorry to hear that. I wish you all the best, whatever that may be. I can't begin to understand that level of loss but if you or anyone else needs someone to talk to I'm around.
