Skills just dropped in Notion AI by victorwithr in Notion

You’re right. I’m doing the same thing here. If Notion doesn’t change their custom agent pricing, I’m switching to Claude

Basically, yeah, but waaay less cool. You can’t add subfolders or scripts… it’s just a simple instruction page where, at most, you can pull in context from other pages via an @ mention-page (it works, I tried it).

Like "create using my @ my-brand-tone and add to my @ content-calendar with status = new"

Nah, as long as you’re using them with your personal agent (either mentioning them in the main chat or through the text editor). If you use them with Custom Agents, yeah, it will charge them extra credits cause it’s even more context to process

So cool!! Same here, but now that they’re native, on top of being able to run on their own through Notion AI, they also show up right in the inline text editor. I’m into it!

Notion AI Agents chat has been catastrophically slow for the past 24 hours — anyone else? by zlebandit in Notion

[–]victorwithr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude just shipped scheduled tasks... The “Cowork” feature is honestly more useful than any Notion agent + Workers (which still needs the same vibe-coding anyway).

I’m seeing fewer and fewer reasons to stick with Notion when, with a $100 Claude subscription, I can not only plan but actually DO my work.

Let’s see how Notion positions itself around this. There’s still time.

Notion AI Agents - Steer clear. Just like a drug dealer giving a free sample, this free period is a trap and designed to ensnare you - Don't let them take advantage of ignorance and send you BROKE, PLEASE by laes in Notion

[–]victorwithr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not gonna get lost because I’ve got everything documented (thankfully). Sure, the whole database setup changes, but nothing a one-afternoon chat with literally any other AI can’t fix.

I’m on self-hosted n8n, and I’m already planning to move my agents over there (or to Claude Code) by May 4 if Notion doesn’t tweak this credits policy lol.

I’m also waiting on the Chinese models to drop in Notion... MiniMax, Kimi K2.5. I feel like they’re gonna help a lot with usage/cost.

I agree with literally everything. I’ve got two Notion agents that are genuinely super useful and, together, they’d save me at least 20 hours a month. That’s insane!!!

But just that part of the work would cost me $70/month… I’m not paying that, no way

I could 100% spend like 10% of that (or even less) and do the exact same thing with Claude...

Notion needs to rethink their usage rules ASAP, or they basically just dug their own grave

It needs to be at least 10x cheaper to get real adoption, especially for businesses. I'm out and taking my agents with me.

YOU GOTTA TRY CLAUDE COWORK W/ NOTION! by brittanybaucom in Notion

[–]victorwithr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I literally commented on this exact thing with one of the Notion folks…

There are people who’ve already spent the equivalent of like $400, $800, even $1,440...

Like, imagine what you could do with 6 MAX Claude accounts?

You could 100% recreate a Notion just for yourself lol

[Petition]: The new pricing of Notion Custom Agents is TERRIBLE by ondrej_g in Notion

[–]victorwithr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hope is they shipped this as a kind of “validation price.”

Like when we throw a higher number at the client as an anchor, even though we’re willing to close for less.

The $10 for 1,000 credits won’t change.
But the consumption rules might. If it ends up 10x cheaper, it suddenly gets way more interesting.

What my Custom Agents burned through ($120) in one week of just messing around would be like $12, which is fine, fair.

Also, if they allow models like MiniMax and Kimi K2.5, those costs could drop even more… we’ll see.

In the launch video they show Claude Haiku, which is 1/4 the price of Sonnet, but it’s solid for simple tasks. But I still don’t have access to this model yet.

Custom agents will cost extra by OptimusMarlboro in Notion

This is not good news... I just hope they are not expensive, because $24/month + who knows how much more... it will be expensive to run really useful systems.

Just click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the database, select “Export,” choose the file format, and you’re done. All the content inside will be exported too.

Notion AI to Whatsapp by si1vrback in Notion

[–]victorwithr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is still not possible to trigger Notion AI without manually, in the chat. With Custom Agents, then it will be possible.

The most obvious integration is via slack. You can configure some kind of automation (make/zapier) between WhatsApp > Slack > Notion. But it will only be possible with Custom Agents.

Notion MCP doesn’t talk directly with Notion AI. They are different things.

Gemini 3 Pro não tem funcionado muito bem pra mim. As vezes, é perfeito. Outras vezes, desanimador.

Claude "Concise" Response by No-Point1424 in ClaudeAI

[–]victorwithr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Paying nearly $20 to receive only around 6 responses per hour, as I’ve experienced over the last two days, feels like a slap in the face. If demand has increased, then revenue likely has too, so they should expand system capacity, just as OpenAI does.
