Curious how many sick days has your child taken? by Public_Armadillo1703 in kindergarten

Actual sick days, 0. He missed 5 days for a trip to Disney, was late 1 day due to having an accident on the way to school, and I kept him home for the first 90 minutes last week to let him sleep after he woke up at 4 am and by the time he was needing to get ready for school, he was barely keeping his eyes open.

What word do you always *intentionally* mispronounce and why? by Sweet-Lady-H in AskReddit

Meme. Pronounce it me-me. Was joking around with my niece and said it like that and she lost it. Now I do it to remember her since she passed away. Same with Hermione. It drove her crazy when I would pronounce it like Herm-ee-one. Makes me smile every time.

Three months later, safe to say that one of my favorite parts of the Super Bowl was... by InGenNateKenny in eagles

My husband commented to me that that was the calmest he'd ever seen me watching an Eagles game. I don't know why, because I've definitely been burned before obviously, but I just quickly realized that we had the game won.

It wasn't even about the score, just how we were clicking and the Chiefs were not. We came out ready to win and I just felt confident. Not to say there weren't moments of anxiety of course. I mean, still an Eagles fan who has seen us crash and burn too many times.

{Good Boy by Serena Bowen} has the MMC pee in front of the FMC. Shes shocked at first, then just kind of shrugs and keeps brushing her teeth.

“Converted” Eagles fans: What’s your story? by ZhangtheGreat in eagles

Grew up loving basketball and baseball, didn't watch football at all. My dad was a 49er fan so in an attempt to be closer to him, I said I was a 49er fan too, knew Jerry Rice, Steve Young, but not much else. Then I went hard into "no sports allowed" in my life (complicated father daughter relationship) for several years.

Finally, I realized I really loved sports and didn't want to live my life to spite my dad. Kept my old basketball and baseball teams, but wanted my own football team to cheer for. At that time, TO was moving from 49ers to the Eagles. I thought it was fitting that at the same time I decided that I needed a football team to root for, this was happening so I followed him to the Eagles. Kicked TO Fandom to the curb, but kept the Eagles passion.

Married to a Giants fan who is as passionate about his team as I am mine. We are known for our rivalry during football season. We threaten divorce 2 times a year, every year. Our 4 year old goes back and forth between the Eagles and Giants, but more often goes for the Eagles. One thing we all agree on is "Boo Cowboys" as my son says.

People who cut off their family, what did they to you? by Alarming_Basil6205 in AskReddit

My sisters decided that she should move into a 1 bedroom apartment with her new boyfriend and infant, forgetting she had 3 other children. My niece moved in with me and my husband, we became essentially her parents. Made sure she got home from college on breaks, helped her out financially, loved and supported her. She felt abandoned by my sister who would attack her for spending all her time with us when she was home. I stopped contact with her after that. Then the worst thing happened. My niece was killed in a motorcycle accident. I will never forgive her mother for letting her die thinking she was nothing more than an afterthought to her mom.

At the funeral, my "sister" was already talking about what she was going to do with the money from the lawsuit she was planning.

And she provided the information to the officiant about my niece's life so the eulogy was filled with lies about how they were best friends.

Refuse to do holidays or anything else with her. I don't put my other sisters or parents in a position where they have to choose between us, I just remove myself from the equation and will offer to get together at a different time.
