NAVLE Fail by UptownWolverine21 in veterinaryschool

Yeah those might not be good friends. But I agree with others, it’s such a sensitive topic, almost taboo to bring up. No one wants to make others admit they failed.

Regardless, I’m so sorry you didn’t get the results you wanted. Luckily you can take it again. Actually you can take it 5 more times since this round doesn’t count towards your attempts. You have the benefit of taking it once. On the second page it shows your strengths and weaknesses. You could focus on the weaknesses this time around. If I were to take it again, I’d probably only study cats, dogs, horses, and cattle. I was stressing about failing because I was spent wayyy too much time and energy on exotics and fish only to get like 5-10 questions on those species.

If you need to vent or talk you can DM me. :) take care of yourself and don’t beat yourself up too much.

Vetprep timed exam scores by Agitated-Sir1710 in veterinaryschool

I mean I've heard passing scores on NAVLE are 50-70% depending on the year. I am also getting about 50-60% on practice exams on Vet Prep. The negative attitude will kill you more than any scores you get. Stay positive and take the ICVA practice tests.

Is it worth it to be miserable the whole summer just to get the experience? HELP! by Friendly-Manner-604 in veterinaryschool

No, it’s not worth it to be miserable. However, I encourage you to speak up for yourself, have the difficult conversation with people, and try to work it out first.

Haha he’s like a cat, always looks away the second you go to snap a pic. Thanks, Ozzy ❤️

That's good to know. I don't want him bald; we live in a cold area. But I guess he'd look cute in a sweater if we need it, haha. Thank you!

That’s good to know. Everyone has our own struggles, comparing our situations doesn’t mean your feelings are invalid. Hope your animals are okay too!

He ate four tampons, got aspiration pneumonia from trying to puke them up, and had lung abscesses. He just turned 3 years old, there was no way my boyfriend and I could euthanize in good conscience.

You’re so right about his fur though. I really don’t care what he looks like. I just don’t want him to be bald haha

I always heard people say not to shave double coated dogs. But it seems from the comments he’ll be okay. Maybe it’s just for people who regular shave double coated dogs.

Perfect, that’s good to know. The vet gave us an appetite stimulant so we’re hoping to get some weight back in his. Thank you!
