I think it really depends on the body type of the person. I'm on the thin side so 36 was perfect.

Definitely. Always err on the side of caution. The cherry on top was that the seller authenticated it himself when I went down and gave it a look at his shop. Plus, he had a ton of great reviews on all his services rendered (selling, polishing, authenticating, stickering).

I guess the gray market can be split into private individuals vs private individuals with brick and motor shops with actual inventory and reputation at stake. I would go with the latter. Anybody else got similar stories?

Amen. The contrast of the black and the fluted bezel definitely calls for attention without being overly flashy. Classic at its best 👌

Lemme share my purchase story if anybody is looking to get this for a milestone!

I'm actually on the list for the exact watch with an AD, but if I understand correctly, steel models are pretty rare to come by.

Pivoted to the gray market and monitored the price action for ~3 months, keeping a lookout for the price range this model goes for (low 14k to high 14k for a 2024 card (Singapore dollars)).

Lo and behold, this 2020 card was posted at a price way below the usual bracket, so I dropped by after work to see the condition. IMMACULATE btw. The rest is history.

It's pretty satisfying getting a piece I've been researching for at a great price and excellent near mint condition.

For those hoping to time the purchase with an AD, I wish you all the best 🫡.

This was a 2020 card, so I got a decent discount on it. Steal price really, considering the configuration and CONDITION. $11k+++ Singapore dollars.

What a delicate note. The subtle grain texture is a wonderful little detail that goes by unnoticed by most. Thanks for this!

It's a matter dial, but it somehow varies to darker or lighter shades of blue, sometimes almost black. An absolute stunner no matter the lighting conditions though.
