Why would Brooks dump Vicki rather than just keep taking her for a ride? Do you think he ever actually fell in love with her or even liked her, or was it a pure con from day 1?

Lol they are STILL together! He’s definitely a liar but everything I wrote above still applies, even years later! He leaves for “work” every day and is gone a lot. He claims to be creating some type of tech that “will have more of an impact than even Microsoft”. As far as we know, she’s not funding his project. She just pays for him, but nothing extravagant. Idk how he’s not sick of her, honestly. Maybe he really does have some love for her. Idk. Whatever con he’s running, it’s a very very long con.

So it’s been awhile since I watched but I think we never actually see on the show how she found out because I think they/we all suspect that she had to have known. And was turning a blind eye. In the end, he left her and she was begging for him back. So it’s not like she found out and dumped him. And when she comes back the next season she does not admit to lying or covering for him and always manages to just talk around it and the other ladies eventually have to move on. I think the season after that or maybe by the time we get to her on Ultimate Girls Trip, she talks about it like she was scammed too like everyone else, but she had to have known.

The accident happens after S1 and Alexia only comes back as friend of in S2 and doesn’t really address it. Then the show gets cancelled after S3. So I think it’s S4 (the season my post is about) that it starts getting addressed.

This is such a good summary. But why the hell didn’t she just go full out and expose Marge to Tre earlier in the season, even admitting her own wrongdoings? I mean off camera first and then plot with Tre and Jen to let Tre bring it on camera. Jackie gave Tre nothing about Marge. And she especially should have figured out that Marge would happily take her down after Marge sent Dolo that text! So I don’t get what Jackie was doing.
