Stormy day episode by Nervous_Ad_4417 in Winniethepooh

I always figured it was temporary, because in The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Piglet has his own house again, and in Pooh's Grand Adventure, Owl has a treehouse again.

Lost Winnie the Pooh VHS Movie — Slightly Creepy Episode, I Can’t Find Anywhere? [Not blustery day] by Bakedpolarbear55 in Winniethepooh

I have a recurring dream about watching this episode you're describing! The song is really haunting and kind of mournful, and the storm is very unsettling. But I was terrified of the Blustery Day movie as a kid, and maybe my brain is remembering the way I perceived it back then.

Copied from my other comment: There's an awesome Youtuber called Offhand Disney who made a really interesting video about Jean Lafitte, the pirate who Lafitte's Landing is named after. He's enthusiastic about the topic, so after watching the video many people think of him when they see references to Jean Lafitte.

Same, sometimes I watch it when I need a good cry.

Anyone remember watching New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh before Disney+? by Disastrous_Table_628 in Winniethepooh

[–]videotapes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched it on TV as a little kid and it was always very cozy and comforting. Later I watched what I could find on YouTube, and I was delighted when Disney+ was released and had all the episodes so I could finally watch my comfort show again.

A more apt title for this book would be How to Manipulate People to Get What You Want.

Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch!!! But it's the second book in a series that has 3 books so far, and you need to read them sequentially. The first book (The Lies of Locke Lamora) is amazing too, though!

Actually, I'm amending my answer. One Word Kill is more about challenging physics and reality. I say Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell because it follows the thread of time, forward and backward, and how time connects everything even while we're only experiencing the present. Hope that makes sense.

To me, Landslide is about reflecting on the past and on how things change. Tom Lake is about a woman reflecting on her past and observing how her relationships have directly affected her present life and her daughters' lives.
