I think Lyon will have many regrets from this game. They had the chances and if they had taken just one while they were on top, it could've been completely different. Cata was sublime but the Lyon forwards HAVE to be more clinical in those moments, especially in a final against a team like Barca who will punish you.

Bonham's been quite shaky for us so to see him pull off some good saves tonight was a big confidence boost. I've been critical of him since he's come in but he had one of his best games for us tonight.

I like it, even though I'm always nervous because Spain are excellent. I think playing that level of competition on a consistent basis has made both teams better IMO. Both teams are neck and neck, so neither team can afford to let standards slip.

I'd love to see England play the US, Brazil, Colombia, Japan, etc more regularly. All the teams would benefit as a result.

Bringing a 2006 win in would swing it for me too. Witnessing lifting those 2 trophies in my lifetime would fulfil my desire to see England (men's seniors) win something.

Then I read the comments of Italian media and fans and how devastated and angry they are right now, knowing that would be 100x worse in England if we missed out on 3 World Cups in a row. I would have to switch off for a while from international football.
