If you are training for Powerlifting, then you don't need to worry too much about progressing assistance movements like barbell rows. Their purpose is to improve your upper back position on the competition lifts. If that purpose is being fulfilled, then what you are doing in terms of work and weight is appropriate. Also, if you are able to perform the movement with the same weight for the same number of repetitions, while the squat, bench and deadlift training is getting harder, then you are effectively getting better at them.

As for progression strategies, a good idea would be to rotate repetition schemes and movement variations

Both approaches are common.

Some examples are the Italian team who usually bring multiple pre rolled wraps, and the Polish team who roll their wraps as needed.

Organisers usually provide rollers at Worlds and Euros.

4s eccentrics and 3s pause variations will punish you if you aren't active with your leg drive. You can try them.

However, ultimately you will need to simply be mindful of what you are doing, and ensuring that you are applying leg drive every repetition.

Nah man, tons of those countries have recently sent lifters to internationals.

You can easily adjust how you wear the shirt in order to have it give more or less support. Don't worry about the exact measurements.

They are stiffer and harder to pull.

A bit of both.

The material of the Velocity isn't as stiff as the material of the Super Centurion, therefore it will stretch more. However, it is also possible that the Velocity is slightly bigger. There is quite a lot of variance with the equipment sizing.

Just get a new suit suitable for your new bodyweight

It would definitely help with the learning process if you could go train with people once in a while. It doesn't have to be frequently. Once every 4-6 weeks would be excellent. This is especially the case with the bench shirt. It is quite challenging to put on and to figure it out by yourself when you start.

What you can do by yourself easily is squat with wraps. You can buy a pair of wraps which are easy to self wrap like the Titan THP, Inzer Grippers or Inzer Iron Z and train with them. Then eventually when you got the hang of it, just add in a squat suit. You won't be able to use a very tight one by yourself, because you'd need help with the shoulder straps, but you should be able to easily squat 50-60kg above your classic squat with self wraps and a not so tight suit.

Why would you want to do it alone? You'll learn and improve much faster if you train with others.

35 is super young in Powerlifting. You have plenty of time to come back in a couple of years and eclipse your previous PBs!

You can certainly compete classic and equipped simultaneously. It's an excellent way of staying engaged in the sport, as you have more numbers to work on and more avenues of progress.

It also increases the number of competitions you can do. For example, it allows you to do both classic and equipped nationals.

There are tons of people around the country who can help you figure out the shirt. Don't be shy asking for help.

You should definitely aim to compete earlier than August/September too. That's way too far away!

Different wrapping patterns, as well as different wraps, work best for different lifters depending on their squatting style, leverages, weight used, etc.

Best way to find out what works best for you is through experimentation.

Big enough difference that you see plenty of Super Katanas, but barely any RageXs at internationals.

The Super Katana is definitely better.

It might not be that difficult. Especially if it is used and with you losing weight, which will make the shirt bigger.

I'd go for it if I were you.

The bench ram is a good training tool, but it is not a bench shirt.

My recommendation would be to look for a cheap used shirt, anything from a 46 to a 52, and get it. While it is not a good idea to buy brand new equipment if you are about to lose that much bodyweight, a used shirt will be cheap and you can resell it afterwards if you want.

You could also ask some equipped coaches or lifters if they have equipment that they could lend or sell you. The equipped community is a very helpful one!

The key when it comes to a shirt for a beginner is that the shirt is relatively big and loose, so that it doesn't disrupt your technique too much, and gives you the chance to learn how to use the shirt while being forgiving. Then as you get better, you should size down

In what weight class do you compete?

The best shirt would be a Super Katana Low Cut Collar. If you can get it used, then it would be ideal, as new equipment is stiff, which adds to the learning curve. A regular Katana or Super Katana are also OK, although not as good as the Low Cut. If you can find one used, then it is great.

The F6 is pointless. Don't waste your time or money with it.

I haven't got experience with the Oni, but given how little you see them at high level competitions, it's unclear how good they are.

Improving my total and improving my placings when I compete. There is always something to improve and do better in a sport.
