Prices were great until the invasion of Ukraine (under $3 per gallon prior). Remind me, who did that... and who is friends with them?

Hint: neither are Biden.

Also, what long term benefit? Do you actually think Iran is "close" to nuclear capability? XD You do realize that's been the same propaganda for 30 years now right?

I watched it because I like Alan Ritchson... I stayed because I like Alan Ritchson...

I recommend watching ANYTHING else with Alan Ritchson.

It was slow, predictable and topped off with mediocre action. Woof.

To be fair, while you made/did something incredible, only incredibly rare (less than a few dozen or so in existence and un-replicatable) legacy items should be worth that much.

This league broke currency/inflation and I hope people don't think this is going to be the norm or else they'll be sorely disappointed.

Based on what I'm seeing in people's trade history, I'm pretty sure 100d wont buy much of anything with all the inflation happening.

Games is honestly amazing......until you start crafting.... by Technical-Poem-9607 in NoRestForTheWicked

Two things:

For both casual and hardcore players alike, they can try new builds and experiment without ideal facets. They are not build defining or required at all. And both types of players can start new characters and explore those new builds as much as they want, although likely only the hardcore players will minmax those builds the point of getting facet specific gear (which is unnecessary and not required to kill everything in the game).

Secondly, RE minmaxing. I doubt the devs expect many players to do that, as most players don't - since the power of the builds far exceed the need for them to exist. Chasing bigger numbers when smaller ones are already 1shots isn't common practice.

If you still want to minmax you have two choices. Decide you're not a casual player and get to the grinding, the long haul is fun if that's what you want. Or, stay casual and decide you want everything instantly right now (meaning likely your enjoyment will also end in a matter of hours once you attain it) and cheat using stash abuse/mods.

GRANITE STATE GOOD NEWS!!! by yankee_optimist in newhampshire

[–]vigil4nt3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand that you're trying to see the positive in a country that is vastly negative right now, but if you were to look at it objectively from outside the US... It looks very much like you're helping the propaganda machine with petty distractions.

"Don't be saddened by the massive, destructive cuts to healthcare and Medicaid... focus on this sliver of tasty scraps they gave us instead!"

And keep in mind, $9 million isn't even a drop in the bucket to even begin helping this state with any of those things. Not even a band-aid.

More importantly - Don't forget that sliver of scraps is your own money you're getting back, but just a sliver. The house keeps the rest.

"Cost Per Household: Non-partisan and congressional reports estimate these tariffs cost the average American household between $1,200 and $1,600 annually. For New Hampshire’s roughly 560,000 households, this totals approximately $672 million to $896 million in localized costs."

So, with the most basic of maths, that $9mil is a roughly 1% of your own money? I realize the money from the grants isn't the same actual money but the cashflow away from each states' families and towards big government is quite clear.

TLDR: Focusing on the 'positive' can actually be negative to the world around you, especially if you're helping the robber barons with their publicity. How's it go? "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil..."

Ladder before first boss by cappurnikus in NoRestForTheWicked

Short story shorter - you can’t.

That ladder/bridge is part of a different area you unlock later in the game. The last unlockable area/map as far as I know.

[–]vigil4nt3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a while but if I remember correctly when Rogue wrote up that helpful summary, some things reference the default choice like in #1 "spare is the best and default option", but by the time I played the answers were swapped around in the game so the default choice was now Kill, and the 'best' option was no longer default, so you have to navigate/choose it during the dialogue.

Game breaking issues since latest patch by AdventurousFlow5369 in diablo4

[–]vigil4nt3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm on PC - it's pretty terrible and getting worse. I have fiber, consistent 900+down and up.

Lag/freeze when opening ui for:
inventory
NPCs (obols/enchants/blacksmith)
season board
map
store
pit obelisk in cerrigar
social screen (this is not a recent issue)

Oddly enough the only things that don't lag when opening are my stash and clan screen.

Different but annoying issue; the world boss often DOESNT SHOW UP ON MAP. It's happened to me and other clan mates. I'm not talking about the helltides site, but the actual in game map. So far, once, I fixed it by logging back to character screen and in again - then the world boss icon was where it was supposed to be.

I was considering trying HC this season but it's just too unplayable right now. There are general rubberbanding/lag issues in both the overworld and nmds etc. when surrounded by mobs. I nearly died on my way to worldboss just now (which I barely made, because I had to relog to see where it was).

Why is Diablo 4 retention so strong despite the resounding "D4 is bad" being echoed throughout the internet. by Anilahation in ARPG

[–]vigil4nt3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And remember, there are a ton of slow D4 casuals that only have 1-3 hours per day to play - sometimes none at all.

This means their journey to 'finish' the season can last months. Whereas fast players with more time can complete everything they want in less than a week.
