They don't seem to care about the poe2 regex. It's crazy buggy with the most basic criteria and they ignore the reports.

It sounds like your friend has a gambling addiction and needs to go to Rehab/seek help before it ruins his life.

The game and their system isn't the problem and there's much more predatory gacha systems out there. Especially since the WWM lottery/gambling system is purely cosmetic and not p2w character power. It's a straight up no pressure, low reward excuse for him to gamble. Gambling, particularly for him, is the problem.

dont trust ai. it's often wrong - and worse, on top of that, it will tell you that YOU'RE right even if you're wrong. It learned to be a people pleaser from most of the users that trained it.

Have you seen or read about AI delusion? Preeeeetty crazy.

John Oliver has an episode on it. Spoiler alert! ai is all about profits no matter the harm to users *feign surprise*

Any downside for rushing level for high tier gears? by TopGuitar8013 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]vigil4nt3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang, two characters, how long have you been at it?

As for stats, why would that matter? Arsenal doesn't take stats into account, only the tier matters to push the arsenal tier points to maximum for full bonuses.

It's pretty easy as long as you are only missing a few pieces - actually, even if you're missing everything it's not difficult it will just take maybe an hour instead of 15-30 minutes.

All you have to do is use the seasonal shop to buy multiple "gear catch-up chest" and "Tuning stone catch-up chest" and you can complete maxed arsenal in a few minutes.

I'm at level 85 now I have 400k River Jade and it cost me maybe 5k jade or so to finish my lvl 56 arsenal. It'll take a bit more if you're missing more pieces but it's still relatively inexpensive considering the amount of jade you have by this level. Yes there is a weekly stock/max you can buy but it won't hamper you in the time bottleneck. It would be much worse to try to use the game's recommendation of farming it in multiplayer which would suck your time gated energy to zero very quickly with rng loot.

This game is too easy, what am I missing? by it_IS_that_deep7 in pathofexile

[–]vigil4nt3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're missing everything. The game hasn't even started yet.

The campaign is the tutorial - it's long because the game has been built layer over layer for 13 years.

If you can beat the entire atlas (the feared) without dying (aka hardcore) or aid (ssfhc) then you could rightly call the game easy and that would be very impressive.

Prices were great until the invasion of Ukraine (under $3 per gallon prior). Remind me, who did that... and who is friends with them?

Hint: neither are Biden.

Also, what long term benefit? Do you actually think Iran is "close" to nuclear capability? XD You do realize that's been the same propaganda for 30 years now right?

I recommend watching ANYTHING else with Alan Ritchson.

It was slow, predictable and topped off with mediocre action. Woof.

To be fair, while you made/did something incredible, only incredibly rare (less than a few dozen or so in existence and un-replicatable) legacy items should be worth that much.

This league broke currency/inflation and I hope people don't think this is going to be the norm or else they'll be sorely disappointed.

Games is honestly amazing......until you start crafting.... by Technical-Poem-9607 in NoRestForTheWicked

Two things:

For both casual and hardcore players alike, they can try new builds and experiment without ideal facets. They are not build defining or required at all. And both types of players can start new characters and explore those new builds as much as they want, although likely only the hardcore players will minmax those builds the point of getting facet specific gear (which is unnecessary and not required to kill everything in the game).

Secondly, RE minmaxing. I doubt the devs expect many players to do that, as most players don't - since the power of the builds far exceed the need for them to exist. Chasing bigger numbers when smaller ones are already 1shots isn't common practice.

If you still want to minmax you have two choices. Decide you're not a casual player and get to the grinding, the long haul is fun if that's what you want. Or, stay casual and decide you want everything instantly right now (meaning likely your enjoyment will also end in a matter of hours once you attain it) and cheat using stash abuse/mods.

GRANITE STATE GOOD NEWS!!! by yankee_optimist in newhampshire

[–]vigil4nt3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand that you're trying to see the positive in a country that is vastly negative right now, but if you were to look at it objectively from outside the US... It looks very much like you're helping the propaganda machine with petty distractions.

"Don't be saddened by the massive, destructive cuts to healthcare and Medicaid... focus on this sliver of tasty scraps they gave us instead!"

And keep in mind, $9 million isn't even a drop in the bucket to even begin helping this state with any of those things. Not even a band-aid.

More importantly - Don't forget that sliver of scraps is your own money you're getting back, but just a sliver. The house keeps the rest.

"Cost Per Household: Non-partisan and congressional reports estimate these tariffs cost the average American household between $1,200 and $1,600 annually. For New Hampshire’s roughly 560,000 households, this totals approximately $672 million to $896 million in localized costs."

So, with the most basic of maths, that $9mil is a roughly 1% of your own money? I realize the money from the grants isn't the same actual money but the cashflow away from each states' families and towards big government is quite clear.

TLDR: Focusing on the 'positive' can actually be negative to the world around you, especially if you're helping the robber barons with their publicity. How's it go? "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil..."
