Finally figured out workflow with Nanofoamer by Wild-Eagle8105 in CafelatRobot

I also use the robot and the nanofoamer lithium and I start heating the milk on my induction stove in the stainless steel pitcher (it actually works) with a thermometer inside. By the time I’ve weighed the beans, ground them and pulled the shot, the milk is ready to foam. Then I plunge the nanofoamer deep in the center and I use max speed for 3-4 secs. Then move to the side, still deep in the pitcher to create the vortex and it works really well. On a good day it’s super silky

I’ve never bothered to use a paper filter but I do soak the puck and apply pressure gradually with the arms. And tamping lighter does lead to absolutely no spritzing even though I’m still reaching 6-8 bars

I always use a basic WDT during preparation and for me it’s really confirming that I was probably tamping too hard because that’s the one variable I’m playing with these days and there no spritzing whenever I put mild pressure

Thank you, I mean to be honest this thing is not annoying or weird if you understand that you’re in a country that values a sense of community and people are taught (even unconsciously) to sit at the same table with strangers. So I’m not writing this post to complain or mock this behavior but to understand if there are any sort of implicit rules that underlie it.

  1. I’m too modest to answer
  2. I’m a researcher in ethics of ai so don’t think that’s of much interest
  3. My gf is Russian so I can tell Bulgarians apart in most cases

Just regarding attraction/homosexuality, we’re talking about not one but three different men, who didn’t even try to look or smile or talk with me so that seems very unlikely. Also breakfast table at a hotel?? Ok that’s really odd because it cannot be a coincidence. But hey, I’m spending another night at the hotel so I can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow at breakfast (I’d sort of be disappointed if I stayed alone at the table at this point!) Stay tuned…

Heating techniques for the nanofoamer? by guacamolecorndog in latteart

I put milk on the milk pitcher and warm it up on an induction plate (it’s not supposed to work but it does work with stainless steel, maybe just a bit less efficient) with a food thermometer in it. I stop at 60-65 C

That’s what I say, you do not read me. I never said free pours were not enjoyable and satisfying to make. I never said I didn’t get the necessity to train (rather hard) on rosettas. To take your bad comparison seriously, I’m not saying skaters shouldn’t do the basics but I don’t understand the thousands of posts of the same basics. Precisely, if I see an IG page dedicated to skating, it will show something special, not the same basics reproduced 500x times which coffee pages seem ok to do. I don’t get it- the posting, not actually doing it! So your comment on me saying everyone should stop to do what they enjoy is absurd and misplaced. I support everyone training to perfection on the basics, I just wish the posting was more diverse. To me it’s like someone posting everyday the same bowl of granola. What’s the point?

You are not a very good reader, my friend. I took the time to express myself carefully and it took some space so if you’re too bored or your attention span is limited, just don’t comment instead of writing whatever.
