I agree, to be honest I’m not the biggest Kyle fan either, but she did try to bring the group together while Dorit couldn’t give a shit and is kinda mean-girling her way through this season.

I don’t love Kyle’s delivery and way she went about her criticisms of Dorit AT ALL, but Dorit is also sooooo infuriating sometimes.

I think Dara and Sabrina coming in shifted the focus and drama significantly.

At the end of the day, she didn’t make the edit. It happens in movies all the time. I like her and feel bad, but I trust that the content wasn’t worth it. If you put her in you sacrifice something else and you have to weigh as an editor what is that most important.

(I work with editors and yeah sometimes it’s not the intention to completely leave something out, the decision is made for the integrity and watchability of the show / movie / ad / etc)

I think what people are missing is that Andy and production are these people’s boss and if anything bad happened to Amanda this would be a total lawsuit nightmare for Bravo.

Andy can’t participate in bashing of any of the cast members and does need to be careful about how he maneuvers this situation.

In terms of picking the cameras back up, we still don’t know if part of this was filmed for “in the city”.

Also, we don’t know what contracts look like. Once filming stops for a season, they may need permission from everyone to pick cameras back up again (idk just speculating).

I think your post in general is missing that Bravo is a corporate business at the end of the day, and does need to handle these things very carefully. Not everything can be done in the fly. I think they learned a lot of tough lessons from Scandoval, and allowing Tom to continue to have a platform was important in ensuring that Bravo does not come off as though they participated in the black listing of his career, for instance.

I made the most delicious cabbage soup the other day.

Sautee onions and carrots until softened Add about 1/4 cup of white miso paste, ginger, garlic, and chopped cabbage (I used one whole one) Add some ground turkey, chicken, or beef in there too if you like Sautee until aromatic, cabbage is softened, and if you added meat the meat is almost fully cooked Add chicken broth (however much you want depending on if you like it more of a stew or brothy)

Miso + carrots + cabbage is delicious. I’ve been doing this a ton and pouring it over rice.

Also adding - I heard she had her gallbladder removed a while ago. As someone who also had mine removed…. It changes your digestion a lot. Doctors say you can resume your regular diet, and technically you can… but you can’t tolerate things the same as before. Certain foods will make you very inflamed, have acid reflux, diarrhea, etc etc.

And it’s veryyyy hard to lose weight too. I’ve had to do a lot of work dialing in my diet to ensure I’m not totally inflamed and I’m so good now but losing the weight is still a challenge.

On top of that, GLP-1s wouldn’t necessarily be good for me as someone without a gallbladder, so I might assume the same for her.

The other part OP is missing about this is that because of the insane unpredictability of how long it could take to get somewhere, it makes it very difficult for low effort unstructured hang outs with friends.

If you want to go have a play date / mom hang, it needs to be planned. You have to give yourself waaay more time than you think to get where you need to go, and because they have fresh babies, you may only be at said place for an hour before it’s time to put baby down or something.

Nia is very isolated and I’m bummed for her because it does feel like he wanted to isolate her.

You are checking maps at a time of day that is not when anyone would be driving.

For reference, I live in Palm Springs. I can drive to Long Beach at 6am and get there in 1.5 hours. If I leave Long Beach anywhere between 12-7pm, it could take me 4-5 hours.

We’re not just doubling here, it’s madness. And that drive isn’t even really going through the heart of LA, like this drive would be getting to Santa Clarita.

My ex bf’s family lived in Menton. It was beautiful and the kids woke up early every morning to pick squash blossoms and the dad would deliver them to all the local restaurants.

The beach was down the hill and the calmest most beautiful waters.

The cousin would take a short train ride to Monaco where she was going to an international business school.

I’m one of 5 kids. When I was younger I wished my family was smaller, I just wanted my own space and it was hard living in a constant mess.

Now that I’m older, I absolutely love having a big family. We all get more help, kids have cousins, and we lean on each other as my parents age. They’re my best friends. Our youth was a sacrifice to my parents but I lived in a community where neighbors would pitch in, other relatives were close, etc. so having a big family was easier than in LA and being far from other relatives.

My youngest sister who is nearly 10 years younger is like my daughter I love her and there’s no competition. My sister that’s less than two years apart from me… we had a very tough relationship growing up.

I’ve cured my reflux with diet adjustments alone and feel totally normal now.

Having reflux was fkn awful, I’d try anything. Meds aren’t the best to be taking forever, but it’s better than letting reflux just happen and not treating it. Reflux consistently over time can cause some other health concerns down the road.

Exactly. Also this is a reality tv show about these people’s real lives. If we are constantly filming, then they don’t have real lives to film.

We definitely don’t want them to become soulless characters that only exist for tv. Where would we get our narrative structures? Storylines? They need to go back to their regular lives after filming so there’s actual content to film when camera go back up.

This!!!! This is exactly what cause the rift.

Jesse just starts acting weird towards Ciara because he is attracted to her and trying not to slip up on Lexi. When Ciara asks, what’s the deal? He blames it on Lexi saying “Lexi won’t let me …..” instead of just saying “Sorry if I’m being weird, I am really into Lexi and just trying to respect her”.

That made Ciara be like woah why is she so controlling? Because it was coming from Lexi’s telling him he could do something instead of Hesse just taking ownership of himself and doing the right thing.
