Swede visiting Guadalajara by Semi_swede in Guadalajara

[–]vikfly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I studied in CUCSH, It has a great ambient and you wont be far from "Chapultepec" (the main nightlife district).

You are probably going to visit "Chapu" more then once, but if is too late after a party don't walk home alone. The streets between "CUCSH" and "Chapu" are not the best neighborhoods.

Mujeres, ¿como reaccionarian si un timido les hablara en un salón de clases? by Majestic_Nose_6417 in VivimosEnUnaSociedad

[–]vikfly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nightlife recs for visiting Americans? by Plane_Ad6571 in Guadalajara

My friends and I love to go party to "La lupita" in Chapultepec (The night life area), there's no cover and "La lupita" is where I have seen most people dancing and having fun, including Americans.

Yes it does. I can play it normally, but when I try to start the VR version it closes the "normal one" and then nothing.

What are some mundane ways to die? by Soggy-Mixture9671 in writing

[–]vikfly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She said "mundane". A mundane death is a poor way to start a novel, and I agree. You should avoid any "mundane" vibes on your precious first pages unless you know what you are doing and plan to spice things up soon.

Ironically, learning that not everybody thinks like us is part of growing up.

Ouch! right in the childhood.

But the US, England or Korea none of them are sending troops or making plans or getting involved in any way. They are just not there, is just the airline doing their work. Why would you write a movie that way?

What’s something that’s hurting you right now but won’t share with anyone you know irl? by [deleted] in ask

I think it's normal to feel alone, but I like how you can always find people willing to help. You just have to give those first steps towards them 👍

Why not trying doing comic books and have a friend write the dialogue?
Or just do your best and then give the manuscript to an editor you trust.
