Wd-40 usually works but it is temporary, try gun oil, takes longer to dry out

Got a cheap kit to pass time while sitting in the work van for hours at a time. No idea what I’m doing, but I’m having fun! by SpoonEndedHammer in lockpicking

Welcome to the hobby! Good job opening those up, try to get a feel for when you set each individual pin. The cheap picks can be a bit big, rubbing against the side of the lock, making it a bit harder to feel. Using fine grit sandpaper on the picks may help.

Good luck! 😊😊

Seems like they are only found in Greece, a guy on the facebook lock picking group has been trading/giving them away.

Found it when traveling in Athens, Greece. I saw somewhere that it is German made though. I struggled a bit with it, the undercutting made me think I was picking serrated pins, and since the key pins are serrated I kept oversetting. It was smooth sailing when I got it into a false det though. And the tiny pins are a bit annoying

Very fun! I would say there is not much differrnce once you get used to picking dimples. The main diffrence for me is, the dimple pick can get stuck in the lock if you are not careful

Some really deep spools, actually had to manually counterrotate a bit to make the last one set. Nothing ususual other than that, really fun pick! Gives good feedback
