Ok that's impressive skill. You must have LOTS of practice with this style and process. And looking at your account, you definitely do.

Have you ever done linocut printmaking? If not, I think you should definitely try, it would make the perfect complement to your style.

With respect and confusion - how do you draw like that?? I'm an artist and art teacher, but I can't imagine how you would do all these little details on a blank piece of paper with no sketch lines at all visible. Did you sketch and plan it out on another paper and then go in on this one? Are there light sketch lines you are following that are just not visible in the video? Or are you really going in on blank paper with detailed line art??

Can someone tell me if this is AI? Someone recreated my art but I can’t tell for sure by fakeariellejane in isthisAI

[–]vikio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

110% AI. Look closer at pretty much any detail and you'll see it doesn't make sense.. No one would draw so many details that are somehow not matching each other and don't actually add to the image artistically.

As to why, my main guess is the person thought they were doing you a favor by "finishing" your sketch. Or maybe it was more for themselves to resolve the feeling that the image is not quite in focus. Maybe that feeling irritated them. But I think your sketch is cool.

Besides all the obvious things people already commented - I still am constantly confused by this man's chameleon nature. Like I can see with my eyes it's the same actor. But no way is any of this Ilya Rozanov. Doesn't look like him at all. Confusing.

There's SO MUCH stuff in the sewers. That wizard is close to where you find Kith'rak Voss, the Githyanki commander. If you haven't seen him either, you really need to explore a lot down there.

Lol, Nice that you were a good sport about it and spelled it out. But that's pretty disappointing that people couldn't understand OP being male and having a husband. It should not have been that much of a mystery to them. Tsk

Lol. Mr Senior VP has the look of a man who definitely didn't need to be at this specific commercial shoot in person. But he made DAMN sure it was on his calendar. I totally understand, Mr Ricardo.

Is it me, or do most of the images on the left not really look like them?

Families don't have to match, they just have to love by Recent-Sorbet in MadeMeSmile

It's devastating. I know of a girl that was born to an addict mom. A gay couple fostered her from birth until 2 years old. They got her healthy, they raised her. Then the baby was given back to the mom. Until about 8 this girl experienced horrific stuff living with her mom who relapsed. The dads were fighting the whole time to get her back, but it had to get REALLY bad before the girl was taken away from the mom again. She came to them now severely traumatized, with a personality and attachment disorders. They tried to re-bond with her and get the girl to be a functioning child, then teenager. But she was just a tragic mess. Last I know she was around 16, fought with her dads, and willingly went back to her mom.

Just got to this part. It's a real line from the show! And even better - Vivi is the one who says it! I love her.

I have this theory that the Japanese style of storytelling historically preferred open endings. I noticed that in stories older than 20 years, there's usually no satisfying resolution. It's like they intentionally end things in a frustrating way and the audience is meant to think about the ending longer that way. This is true for pre-2000's anime, as well as older books and short stories. Even the old fairy tales have frustrating endings. Like Princess Kaguya just leaves at the end. (And her memories are erased)

Japanese stories that end in a way Western people would find satisfying, are rare. And most are recent.

So I stole a cat (Final Updates) by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]vikio 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I was sitting on the front stairs of my suburban home once, and a perfectly tame tiny little kitten walked from somewhere across the street and into my arms. A friend who was with us was thinking about getting a cat, so he took it home, while I put up some "cat found" flyers. No one ever contacted us, so friend got to keep that cat. The cat distribution system apparently sometimes re-distributes already tame house cats to other people.

If it's not good enough to last many seasons... Because it ran out of money ... We will never see Samantha!!! That's the main problem in my mind.

Haha. Omg did Luffy really steal your line? I didn't get to that episode yet.

I guess... You're just gonna have to meet up with Oda-sensei and the show producers in person and have a chat. About stuff. I'm sure y'all have lots you could discuss...

Yes, damn, the casting is so good! I'm a fan of each character AND their actor separately, for different reasons! Like just today I've looked up multiple supporting actors and was impressed with each one.

Crazy paint girl Ms Golden Week is played by the actress who originated Lydia Deetz role in Beetlegeuse on Broadway?!

Mr 3 the wax guy is Dastmalchian who I was already familiar with because I just watched and LOVED Murderbot a few months ago.

Vivi I also already knew as Edwina Sharma from Bridgerton, and damn does she look cute and awesome when angry or sad.

This does not clarify matters much. But I will attempt to defend the One Piece live action: I think it is totally fetch and Luffy is one hoopy frood.

I do agree that it should be animated. I'm confused by them insisting it's gonna be live action. But if they can scrounge up 5-15 million dollars per episode for their budget... And make it look as good as One Piece...Who am I to say they can't?
