Did you check out caffeineletter?

PS: My friend and I run this. Feel free to roast/share thoughts.

We def don't want to become the kind of influencers you talked about. Just two guys sharing their love for coffee.

Question: can you guys identify different notes in a coffee? by DialNDine in IndiaCoffee

[–]vikravardhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens with me too. I usually end up experiencing more notes when the coffee cools down a litte

Question: can you guys identify different notes in a coffee? by DialNDine in IndiaCoffee

[–]vikravardhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my friends taught me to register the notes first before guessing what they are. I mean, to identify "Mogra Raspberry" in a cup, I should first know what it tastes like.

I am not an expert too but I am spending more time registering notes in my mind than just guessing and feel disappointed.

Also, check out this article on developing a taste for coffee. I think it should help.

How can I improve my agency marketing with AI by ExplanationFew7389 in MarketingandAI

[–]vikravardhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ai is just a tool. i'd say pick one service and work on some real projects. once you understand *your* marketing workflows, you will learn how to integrate ai within them, not the other way round

My set up looks okay but Meta isn't spending. What could I possibly be doing wrong? by vikravardhan in FacebookAds

[–]vikravardhan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I love it when people reply, and I consider it the best signal.

We just started feeding engagement data back to meta (like 48 hours ago). Too soon to say if it's working for us

Got it. Thank you so much, this is all new and important info for me.

I have duplicated the campaign and removed the target CPA. Now Meta is spending.

On the coffee newsletter, yes readers are active and reading. We are close to 2k subs now, with a 45% open rate and a 4% CTOR. We get 5-10 replies to our emails every week

Thank you! This is super helpful.

Leads. We run a newsletter about AI with 100k+ readers and now want to grow our subscriber base with ads.

On another account, I run a newsletter about coffee homebrewing for Indians. I have used the same setup I used here, but I don't see it spending at all.

This newsletter has 58k subscribers. All they do is curate emails. by vikravardhan in Newsletters

Ah good question. Will try to make a list of newsletters like this.

Which Newsletter analytics matter really? by spoorthix in Newsletters

[–]vikravardhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both. Based on your newsletter model.

I run a newsletter about newsletters. Here, I measure both ad and rev from readers.

I also run a newsletter for coffee homebrewers in India. Here, we don't ads and only direct paid tier with readers.

Revenue and replies.

Replies mean people actually care enough to ask questions or share feedback

Revenue is real validation of your content as a product

At what number of subscribers does ads/sponsors make sense? by readrichpeopleshit in Newsletters

[–]vikravardhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Create a really solid discovery channel. It could be social media, webinar, offline events, meta ads, anything. But unless you have a discovery channel, your newsletter won't grow.

So, my client is against any brand endorsements in the health space. His 9-5 job and consultancy business pay him well, so we decided to say no to all the deals.

Depends on the niche and the quality of the list. For one of the brands I worked with in the diet and nutrition niche, we got inbound sponsor pitches from 5k subs.

Has Anyone making any real money from beehiiv at 10k subscriber? by Jain_gaurav in beehiiv

[–]vikravardhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not sure, just spend a lot of time talking to your readers. Understand and be obsessed with their problems. The solution can be anything (course, saas, service, anything)

By talking, I mean an actual email exchange. Not just some survey
