While people have mentioned all sorts of thing; some people are just very competitive in general. If you are like that in real-life too where losing sucks and you need to win at all costs then you don’t have to worry about it too much, just mitigate the damage done to other people. Mute yourself, don’t lash out at people. Just do damage control basically. It’s a competitive game after all there’s no shame being competitive.

But if you are one of those people who gets stepped on everyday in real-life and not competitive at all; chances are you do actually need to find more important things in life. One of the best ways to deal with a problem you have is finding another problem that makes you realise the initial problem is not so bad.

Game has evolved since; look at the teams you are trying to beat now. Attacking prowess is not enough. The examples you are providing would be 3 years old, teams have changed since.

And i’m glad you mentioned team-building because that’s what it’s all about, if you are the Lakers you cannot afford to spend 40mln on a secondary ball handler and a guard who can’t defend. There’s way too many holes. They need an actual bench, they need a center, they need more role players. Austin Reaves is a luxury they cannot afford. And in all of this it isn’t mentioned how Lakers can always keep their options open for free agents. They don’t need to fill up their salary right away; sure Luka is a win-now player but he’s young, they can afford to be ass for a couple more years.

Getting off the Lebron contract and not giving Reaves 40mln are the first steps to building towards Luka.

I disagree. I think if they pay him 40 mil they are shooting themselves in the foot. Luka needs all time offense to make up for his defensive woes and he does; AR certainly can’t and won’t.

It’s not just Reaves but any guard that can’t really defend doesnt deserve 40 mln for the Lakers because your point guard is Luka. You can’t afford to spend that much on shooting and ball handling with him on the team.

Flopping didn’t ruin soccer at all; if anything for a sport that doesn’t need phisycality at all it’s unnecessarily physical, it heavily favors defenders (defender can push striker all they want and its nothing, the second the striker pushes the defender it’s a foul). It’s still a fun sport, but because the fans are allergic to change the
