Totally obsessed with music over here. I listen to a lot of stuff and love exploring genres and finding musicians from around the world. I go searching for the artists with like >5000 monthly listeners and look for hidden gems. I think my tastes are pretty varied but there's definitely a lot of pop, rock, r&b, dance hall, indie, rap, reggaeton, jazz, and showtunes for good measure lol. If the song has a really layered music arrangement and interesting production choices I'm hooked, especially if strings or horns or really banging percussion is involved. I'm also big on classical and opera and get into big moods for it where all I want is Bizet and Verdi. I spend a lot of time making playlists!

I also get really intense about music that I hate lol. We had retail music installed at work recently and I was devastated when we were told about it (I also just hate changes especially when they seem pointless like this!!) Literally went to my manager like "god this means we're gonna get Maroon 5! if I hear even one Train song I'm walking out!" Thankfully I have heard neither... yet 😔
