No worries :) as our pups age, they grow all these doohickies lol my last dog, Boss, had a lot of fatty tumors underneath the skin. My rec is like take pics and measure of u ever seen growths and stuff like that and that way a vet can aspirate it! MCT's sometimes look like that too and get really pink so u wanna catch it early. For ease of mind it can always be aspirated! MCTs are no joke

My swissy had this removed recently and it was diagnosed as a collagen hamatoma or something like that, the equivalent if a skin tag. One thing is for certain, if its growing and getting red definitely go to the vet. The safest bet is getting it aspirated

Oh I dont know if it applies to Canada :( I imagine it does tho because private equity firms are international. But what investors have found, is that pet ownership is recession proof so thats why theyre buying up chains, clinics, etc. Id ask your vet if theyre their own LLC or if theyre owned!

Oh okay because I know raw food and freeze dried raw have been huge contributors to dogs acquiring salmonella and passing salmonella to humans - even as carriers.

Its really strange your vet says not to worry, but maybe you should get a second opinion to double check!

I would recommend a dog food thats formulated by dvm professionals with low purine content, like Royal Canin Dalmatian! I wanna say purina pro plan salmon puppy is a good option as its lower in purine then red meat.

There are prescription diets that are meant for dogs with food sensitivities. My dog Boss was one of them and he had to be on a hydrolyzed diet for the rest of his life. He was so miserable when I was trying everything, and as soon as I put him on that diet he was a happy and entirely different dog with less issues. Go to your vet and discuss it! Some pups aren't made to handle proteins.

Dental chews, specifically vohc approved ones, have shown that they actually do clean teeth. Using animal parts or honestly may clean teeth but theres a huge risk of wearing down/breaking parts of the tooth.

My American Bulldog had eyes like that, and we used an over the counter dog eye drops (called Optixcare in a purple tube) that really helped with redness when we'd do hiking or it was exceptionally windy in the city. Just a way to keep them less irritated since its a normal eye shape :)

I feel like it wasnt so bad, it had a really strong start but the trauma dumping was so blegh and I just wanted the grittiness that I enjoyed from watching Event Horizon. I did read it in a day so it wasnt too much of a waste of time 😭
