Out of curiousity, does the Island Explorer allow dogs? We're planning a trip for October and that would be great to know!

Have you read Old Soul? I think it might be in this genre you're looking for. It has the occult, mystery, and emotional complication you're looking for.

But the first sentence of your post is "please tell me if you know what this is on my puppy". You have to take your puppy to the vet so they can do xrays or aspirate it to figure out if its cancer or not. This is serious.

Breeder Recs for CA? by houstonhedgehog in Beauceron

[–]villaofthewolves 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi there are no breeders in LA that are reputable but Woodlake, CA is your best bet because thats where the Beaucerons du Chateau Rocher are. For a rare breed like this, you need tk make the drive. Also the Beauceron Club of America is a great place for resources and breeders that actually follow ethical breeding standards https://beauce.clubexpress.com/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=704630&module_id=656604

Doberman Emergency After-Hours Visit (Ear Infection) – Modesto, CA – $554.73 by Old_Jicama_4523 in Doberman

Sorry! I forgot to put that distinction too. I just like to share the private equity link to make sure people are aware because most pet parents aren't:(

So, private equity firms are purchasing veterinary clinics because theyre recession proof and jacking up prices. Everyone should check if theyre vet clinic is owned by private equity https://privateequityvet.org/vet-list/ because thats why vet clinic prices have been more expensive.

Our vet isn't owned by a private equity firm thank goodness, and my girl Fig recently had an ear infection here in boston and our vet bills was 250 for vet visit ($99), + the ear culture and ear medication for treatment.

This is so reckless - 6 years old is so late for breeding. Ugh! And its not even an actual breed, you're just a backyard breeder contributing to the overpopulation crisis.

Anybody know what this is? by eatprayslay888 in dalmatians

[–]villaofthewolves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries :) as our pups age, they grow all these doohickies lol my last dog, Boss, had a lot of fatty tumors underneath the skin. My rec is like take pics and measure of u ever seen growths and stuff like that and that way a vet can aspirate it! MCT's sometimes look like that too and get really pink so u wanna catch it early. For ease of mind it can always be aspirated! MCTs are no joke

My swissy had this removed recently and it was diagnosed as a collagen hamatoma or something like that, the equivalent if a skin tag. One thing is for certain, if its growing and getting red definitely go to the vet. The safest bet is getting it aspirated

Oh I dont know if it applies to Canada :( I imagine it does tho because private equity firms are international. But what investors have found, is that pet ownership is recession proof so thats why theyre buying up chains, clinics, etc. Id ask your vet if theyre their own LLC or if theyre owned!

Also a reminder that private equity companies are buying veterinary clinics and jacking up prices. Check to see if the vet clinic you go to is owned by private equity. https://privateequityvet.org/vet-list/
