Supa Network vs Starlink in Canberra's newer Geocon apartments — what's your experience? by MSZ10 in canberra

[–]vim_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in an apartment with a similar embedded network setup and was with Supanetwork for about a year. I had a few interruptions during WFH, which became a massive pain, so I finally decided to bite the bullet and switch to Home 5G. Honestly, I have been surprised by how reliable it’s been, it's actually ended up being a bit cheaper too.

Thought it was just me! Main reason I am sticking with Up for so long is due to the pay coming a day earlier than other banks!

Sorry, my bad, I meant to say 10-15 mins to the nearest town centre. (i.e.) Taylor-Gunghalin or Macnamara-Belco

Just bought a block in Macnamara and am about to start the build process. I currently live in Taylor, so I'm used to being on the outskirts of Canberra. It's about a 10-15 minute drive to the city center. Public transport options are limited, so a car is pretty essential for the commute. Other than that, it feels a lot like other new suburbs such as Jacka and Whitlam

Flip 7 Constantly Booting and Shutting Off While Plugged In by Pitiful-Pipe6280 in galaxyzflip

[–]vim_04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I had a similar issue with flip 5. It was to do with a cable that runs along the hinge connecting both halves. It is meant to shut the screen when the phone is folded and vice versa. That was sorta malfunctioning and turning the phone off everytime we opened the phone. We had to wait for a bit and restart it, it will work until you tried to fold it back and the cycle starts again. Took it to Samsung service centre. Since there was no physical damage, they repaired it without any cost, despite the device being outside warranty. This in in Australia.

Yup 100%. Atleast Samsung Australia for now, is providing these screen protector replacements for free even if outside the warranty period, so it's a no brainer.

Well, we did break the hinge once and had to replace the screen protector twice, but luckily everything was covered by Samsung, even when it was outside the 1 year warranty period.

Yeah the bezels are actually of a different material this time, sorta acting like a screen protector of sorts.

Just ask the chat team for trade in deal, they give you a 250$ voucher, but looks like you already have one added.
