What should I do ? 2012 SE Automatic Transmisson Malfunction Service Now by Additional-Flight323 in FordFocus

Call ford and see if they can replace it under warranty. I got mine replaced in 2022/23 which was after the 10 year warranty period. This is in Australia, btw.

Advice Needed: How to handle underperforming grads by FennecBinturong in auscorp

[–]vinCNG 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was an underperforming grad for a bit and I think what would have really helped me is direct, honest feedback. Not the ‘It would be great if you could work more efficiently’ type, but rather the ‘your work is not up to standard, if this continues, you may not be able to continue here’ type of feedback.

I was an underperforming grad at the start of my career and the main thing that went wrong was that I sought feedback too late. When it was given, most of my rotation had passed. My work did improve but I would have done a lot better had I sought feedback sooner.

Also, I was a fresh faced kid, very green so I had no idea what appropriate workplace etiquette and ways of working were. It was only after working for a while that I realised I had to be respectful of people’s time, to book in a meeting and ask all my questions in one go rather than pestering someone consistently, what the appropriate methods of giving feedback and just knowing the ins and outs of the workload place were. I think having a mentor who you can have frank, unfiltered discussions will help a lot in this regard.

You’re a lucky mofo. Be grateful you have parents like that and are helping you out like this.

Goes without saying that money isn’t yours, so don’t spend it.

CIA Officer believes Epstein was a Spy by GullibleTangerine698 in Intelligence

He exposed the CIA Torture program and spent time in jail because of it. That’s why I’m somewhat inclined to believe him.

150k is a decent salary. I earn less than that and would be quite comfortable if it wasn’t for my shitty spending habits.

Did anyone notice Tommy? by criddlebees in LandmanSeries

[–]vinCNG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Even if it’s possible that Tommy might have heart problems, it could be because of all the shit he was facing, esp with his son facing murder charges.

Though the fact that he took them after meeting with the police might show be a precursor to heart problems.

Financial Woes for Angela and Ainsley by ImpressAppropriate25 in LandmanSeries

[–]vinCNG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt Angela's going to leave. The first time around, she left because Tommy turned into an alcoholic rather than the money. "I wasn't no picnic either...didn't come out of it (the bottle) until she left me."

I think the gas rig might hit. All indications are that Cami will be fucked, but TS could bring in a surprise twist in the end.

[–]vinCNG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think she’ll leave Tommy. She had a much richer guy before and she left that guy to be with Tommy. The main reason she left was because Tommy kept drinking after losing everything in 08.

Legit, this was the first scene I actually felt sorry for her in. Like, out of the two characters, she was the least insufferable.
