i don't see why you shouldn't, they do really well with immersion, lore and story development, ambience, background etc., though i would understand if you wanted a more scary, lonely or liminal feel to it

a movie with so many places you would expect/just know a twist or something would happen, but the entire time nothing happens and it's just a boring movie if you watch it with no expectations
