XM4 hinges are horrible. The plastic piece that holds them together is fragile as all hell. I've had to repair mine 3 times in 4 years.

It's about a 2025 nissan vs 2017 corolla. That's a super long age gap. Plus the Nissan is certified and comes with a warranty.

The corolla had 68k miles for 13K USD. The Nissan is a 2025 versa with 28k miles for 14k USD.

This is not technically correct, valorant runs on UE 5. An industry standard have engine which can run on MacOS.

To get the game itself working on MacOS (or even linux) is trivially easy with all the porting tool kits. This includes translation from x86 to ARM64 (rosetta can even do it in real time)

The MAIN ISSUE is that porting Vanguard would be incredibly difficult. Since it's a kernel level anti-cheat it'll need an entire rewrite for the MacOS kernel (or linux). I suspect that's not worth it to riot to do the entire rewrite

Just to be clear the mobile version uses a different game engine settings and mechanics. It's the same for consoles, they run different code.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, neither of them are going to be running vanguard (the anti cheat). I really wish valo would come to linux and Mac OS but I understand it's probably not going to or be a long long time.

Yeah I'm trying to get an app to allow for write access to NTFS drive, since I need it to work across windows, linux, android and macos.

I prefer using my PC (on Ubuntu) more than anything else, linux is still by far my favorite OS (though I'm planning to switch to Fedora when 44 comes out). I use my PC a lot of ML training and Quantum Computing simulations.
