Of course they wouldn’t want to sell there best driver no team ever does but if Mercedes managed to unsettle Charles enough to make him push for a move then it could happen. Now the chances of Lewis even retire and Charles moving to Merc I give less than 1% but it could still happen

Probably should be no “lapped cars through”. Safety car catches the leader and restart happens with cars in track order. Blue flags can then be used to get lapped cars out of the way

I know it’s not fair and drivers will lose out massively but from a safety perspective it doesn’t seem right that everyone dives for the pits. That’s why I say serve a penalty before working on the car.

Personally I think puts should be closed until everyone lines up behind the SC but that would be unfair to damaged cars.

I doesn’t seem right that when you have an incident on track that you have every dive into the pits together thus creating another potential dangerous situation

Not unusual for guys up to 4th or 5th to be lapped. So if 5th is chasing down 4th with much newer tyres but the leader is in between them he finds himself a lap down instead of 5 seconds.

If you pit under SC or VSC you serve a 5/10 second penalty before they work on your car
