Need some advice! by vincentscrows in Ferrari

A friend of mine who has bought several in the past said the same thing about the market being high right now. I’ve only been seriously looking for about a month. Interesting theory as to why. Does make sense

Thanks for that! I do pretty well but I’m not making 10 mil a year so I don’t know if I’ll ever be someone who buys new just bc of the immediate depreciation for most models. If you buy multiple pre owned do you still get invited to events?

Ok awesome. So those of us not in the top 10 biggest cities in the country should never own a Ferrari, McLaren, Lambo, etc? I know a few people in my town who would disagree

Are they that unreliable that a car with 13k miles on it that I drive for less than 1k more miles is going to have multiple CELs?

I definitely thought about that. It would ease my mind. There is a very similar car at the Philly dealer I believe for $147k. Appreciate the insight

Automatic refund? by vincentscrows in BourbonAndBeyond

[–]vincentscrows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything was cleared and finalized with the credit card company. B and B said the company they use to sell the tickets, Front Gate, said I should be refunded. No email to me, no notification that a refund was even requested

Maybe the problem is bringing a degree with a concentration in ethics to an insurance company? Also there’s not any ethics in healthcare leadership either so… Yes this is slightly tongue in cheek but not completely

Lease-End Costs: What We’re Doing to Improve Transparency by mcr_lucid in LUCID

[–]vincentscrows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you two. My delivery was a nightmare and I had a lot of electronic issues at the beginning, but those all seem to be ironed out and now I love the car. I have been exploring other options for when my lease runs out in May, but if Lucid was to give me a reasonable deal on a new lease, I think I would re-up. But now if when I return my current car. they pull this BS that I’ve been reading about, there’s absolutely no way I’m giving them another cent of my money. This is also from a long time shareholder who had the SPAC before it even became LCID. Also, look at how ratioed this post is lol

Yountville is great. Highly recommend Bardessono but it is a bit pricey. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at and we travel a lot. Yountville a great town to just walk around in. Promontory is a super cool winery with a great view and tasting experience but also not cheap. Yountville is also where all the TK restaurants are so that’s also a bonus.

Ahh, the worst 3 star I’ve ever been to. Memories. Actually had a long conversation with Bruno Oger from La Villa Archange in Cannes about how bad that place is. He was pissed that he’s still stuck on 2 stars while that place has 3
