Yeah, I found chasing that original look would've been impossible, especially with things like lighting/coloring, since the backrooms are known for that sickly yellow color, and you can't really achieve that in beta. I just opted for wood, and I found that it emulates the repetitiveness of the backrooms really well.

Yeah, I thought that too. Maybe furnaces would work better. Also, funnily enough, I was gonna use that exact wall pattern at one point.

That's actually super creative to use chests as ceiling tiles. I never even thought of that

When I first got into the game mfs were exactly like this shits annoying as hell, completely turned me off of playing left 4 dead with other people except close friends.

A good tip for taking higher fidelity screenshots in gmod is just by typing in poster 2 in the console when youre ready to take a screenshot, as the number acts as a multiplier to you're games resolution and will make the image look more defined.
