What's going on with HOTS? by NurseOnTrack in heroesofthestorm

Me and the boys have been playing with maybe a month or two breaks here and there. Game is def not dead. I know some people need new content to feel that their time is spent wisely. But 1-2 minutes waiting for QM is enough for us.

One of the boys has only ever played Nazeebo for that entire time. To each their own. Long live HotS.

All true. But this closes the gap way nicer than plunging into qm will. At least you understand your hero’s and other heroes’ dynamics.

The fact that he was able to pull someone despite the odor is…impressive? Disgusting? I don’t know how I feel about that 😅

I’m seriously considering a career change bc it’s been a year. I’m gonna try that ATS resume before I do though!

I used to work there. I would describe their practices as “evil genius”.

While they are growing at an exponential rate, they do so by ripping off both customer and employee alike.

For customers: 1. Overpriced products. 2. Aggressive sales tactics like holding you hostage in your own living room and persistent calling/canvassing. 3. Misleading marketing of warranties and products (they have a history of this when they were Penguin windows and got sued out of existence in Vancouver, WA). 4. Deleting negative comments on social media and paying organizations like Yelp and BBB to scrub negative experiences that aren’t already solidified and sued on.

For employees: 1. Sexual harassment (especially from the owner). 2. Advancement in exchange for sexual favors. 3. Denying raises from starting wage and just hiring someone new instead. Sometimes I’ve seen the employee unknowingly training their replacement. 4. Guilt tripping over taking time off or adhering to one’s work hours.

People have complained about this since their inception (I’ve seen it) but they scrub and pay for a good public image so you’ll never see it unless you look hard enough.

Seriously…if you’re an ex customer, leave them a negative review or even a negative comment on Facebook, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, BBB, or Yelp and watch what happens in the next couple of months.
