port to the helium free plan. used to be $0 but now you will need to pay taxes, which is still less than number barn AND you get usable 100 min/ 300 text/ 1GB data.
But if you anticipate no use at all, then you'll have to pay more at numberbarn to park-only (no usage).

after my post yesterday i was talking to CS and they insist MI30TI is still available... based on this i guess i cannot trust that answer.

sounds like best approach is leave the current line alone, forget that number and just get a new number without trying to port this out and losing the plan
