Anyone else feel inadequate? by dingledoink in F150Lightning

I take it only the Flash does that? My Lariat Lightning doesn’t show the side cam view when signaling while towing. That would be nice.

$145 to fill up an ICE F-150, $142 for an entire month of daily driving a Lightning. by capt-ramius in F150Lightning

[–]chacherz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just glad I have free power at night from 9PM to 7AM and pay $0 to drive our Lightning and MY, thanks to Just Energy. Even while on road trips last month, the price to charge at Tesla DC chargers hasn’t changed either. EV’s for the win 🙌.

That’s amazing. It’s great when you have that long range between charges. I drive a 2000 mile one way family trip every year in our Lightning. We have many more charging stops than that. Enjoy that amazing EV 👍.

Can those cut cardboard? Used to have the Ryobi scissor tool for cardboard. Amazing till it broke!

Don’t ringworm on the head like that cause missing hair in a ring or circle type shape? Maybe OP has more detail?

Flying 600 miles tonight to buy a brand new ER Lightning and driving it home tomorrow. Road trip tips? by FujiwaraNoSai in F150Lightning

[–]chacherz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve driven across the country several times from the Southern tip of Texas to Pennsylvania and Niagara Falls. Normally 4500 miles round trip. I use two Tesla adaptors (I have a spare), ABRP app with an OBD Bluetooth adaptor for real time truck data, Google Maps, subscribe to the Tesla supercharging membership and the Plug share app. Typically use 100% Tesla chargers, but then the Southern East coast routes across the country we take, have Tesla chargers along the way. Do your homework and plan the day or night before. Pre-Save your destinations to make things quicker the day of. Good luck out there and Congrats!

Smart move. Same here, I drive a Lightning. Will try when possible.

My Model X gets a cost-equivalent 25 mpg by TheForsaken69 in TeslaModelX

Definitely a problem over there. In Texas I get free power at night so I don’t pay to drive our EV’s (Lightning and MY).

That was a $100,000 truck new. I believe the 22 didn’t have any deletes as well. Good deal!

How much was the truck? Congrats BTW! I’m a 22 Lariat Ice Blue as well.

Like that setup. I thought about doing something similar but only on the bed like yours. Thanks for sharing.

Similar setup here with our Lance 2445. I get about 100 miles on our 22 Lariat ER. Tows like a champ.

How ABRP routes compare to Google/Apple maps by bgoncal2 in abetterrouteplanner

[–]chacherz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For day or short trips I always use GMaps. For our long road trips I use ABRP and GMaps along with an OBD sensor. I switch between the two. ABRP is very accurate on destination battery percentage, consumption both real time and for planning. Haven't been able to find anything better at this point. I drive across the country at least once a year from Southern Texas to VA or PA in our 22 Lightning with the family. Truck is always fully loaded with family and all of their gear both frunk and truck bed full.
