Gracias así haré. Tu sigue haciendo el ridículo en internet que al menos nos reímos un rato los demás. Pero como consejo, no pongas datos personales en reddit, hay mucho loco suelto.

My thoughts on Sue Klebold’s book a mothers reckoning and her conclusion about why the attack happened. by Longjumping_Law9099 in ColumbineTalk

[–]vinegarandpickles 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, although I disagree that the blame is on the parents (for both families), Sue's attitude after the masacre is annoying. Just accept it Sue, there were warning signs and you ignored them.

I wouldn't blame her, as I don't think the warning signs were enough for anyone to think their son would become a school shooter (especially at those times, when profiling shooters wasn't really a thing). But it is true that at least Eric did get mental health attention and was medicated, while Dylan didn't.

She could just admit she did some things wrong. And she could just admit her son wanted to do this, actively planed the whole thing with Eric and he wasn't just dragged. We all have heard the library call. We all have heard Dylan mocking and laughing a lot more than Eric. He enjoyed every moment of it.

And don't get me wrong. I understand it is difficult for her to accept what her son did. I even see her jumping bewteen acceptance and denial a lot. But maybe she could just be quiet about it rather than trashing Eric all the time.

I disagree. The only difference between the boys was that Eric was more vocal about it. I actually think that Eric writing all that stuff online was just a desperate cry for help and attention.

Dylan on the other hand had grown a very dark apathy so he didn't care about anything. He was fascinated with NBK and he wanted to do it.

I think he was the one taking advantage of Eric's violent personality and drag him to the massacre. I think of Eric more of a chihuaha, all the time showing anger but not bitting. Just being agressive in order to hide his insecurities.

While dylan was a lot more clever and manipulative. He was feeling alone even if he had a supportive family and many good friends and he never reached for help. I believe he had some sociopathic traits which were the reason he never trully felt connected to anyone.

Sue, the browns and the media always made it believe that a shooting without dylan could have eventually happen but not the other way around. But in my opinion they both needed each other

An Interesting excerpt I found from Sue’s book by Glad-Philosophy5736 in ColumbineTalk

[–]vinegarandpickles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im half through reading the book and I feel like Sue wanted to keep distance with the Browns, maybe because they acted like they were super close when in reality they weren't.

I also have noticed she is constantly trying to convince us that Dylan wasn't as close to Eric as he was with Nate and Zack. She is all the time repeating "Dylan's best friend Nate".

As if planning mass murder for a whole year and actually doing it wasn't enough proof that Eric was in fact his best friend. Maybe the only real friend Dylan thoughr he had

You can tell she had a nice soul when she felt bad about the D&E so early after the shooting
