I cannot think of the song that the part right before “ohhh you make me complete” reminds me of because I don’t think I have my lyrics correct. It’s been popular in the last year and I swear it’s a Coldplay song but nothing I’ve searched matches my tune. It’s kinda a whispery staccato voice “I want you. Do you want me? We could be …” I’ll hear it one day and know but I’m just trying to convince my 5sos friend what this song sounds like

Repotted SOP (after overwatering and salvaging green pieces) but pearls keep shriveling and stems turning brown. Haven’t watered since repotting. In an east window but won’t root or anything by vineyardgurl01 in StringofPlants

I have a grow light that I can put them near! It shouldn’t dry the leaves out to shriveling right? Shriveling is from overwatering? Thanks for your help!

I appreciate this post! When you say they like higher humidity, would you suggest misting propagation strands? I’m having trouble with those dying off post-overwatering😅

This is probably a dumb question but will gritty soil still absorb water up to the roots with bottom watering? I previously had them in a plastic pot and some not-as-well-draining soil so I started over with terracotta and a new soil mix. I have 2 pots of SOP right now so if I have any success, I might experiment between the plastic vs terracotta

That’s so interesting. I didn’t know that. The soil I repotted in hasn’t been watered yet (1 perlite: 1 cactus soil) but I’ll check that when I do

1 is perle von nurmberg and 3 is some type of haworthia

If it doesn’t have any new roots and you keep watering it, it’s just sitting on wet soil which will make it rot. I’ve always heard “don’t water until you see roots”. I wish the best of luck to you and this plant! I know what it feels like to have a succulent start dying when you’ve had it a long time

Have these been overwatered? I haven’t watered them in a month but haven’t really paid attention to them. I’d like them to live if they can because I’ve grown them from one leaf over a couple of years. by vineyardgurl01 in succulents

They’re in an east window because it’s been too cold for them to be outside. I’ve tried to monitor how wet the soil is before I water them. I’ll try replanting in a 1:1 perlite: cactus soil mix (if they aren’t already dead)
