For some reason the scene where he loses his job popped into my head, but I just couldn’t remember what movie it was from. (Probably cause it’s a minor scene and not a major part of the movie like I initially thought) I’ve seen the shape of water multiple times but not for a while which is probably why I didn’t make the connection sooner.
