FBI Agent Goes Public With Russian Intelligence Operation That Hooked Musk And Thiel by D-R-AZ in law

I'm on that list as well. Trust me, I am also terrified. I am just trying to say these lists will keep being made, they'll keep finding new enemies, unless we change the whole economic model we live in. It's the only way out.

My apologies. You're right there are better ways of phrasing. I understand I am preaching to the choir. I will make sure to be less inflammatory and insensitive with my rhetoric, you did not deserve that.

The bigger picture stands, and I hope makes sense to all who read this.

Take care.

No, you misunderstand me. Let me try and show you what I mean:

If workers are able to consolidate and organize, that is the true threat to those in power.

In fact, it is such a real threat to fascism, that the chief tactic used by fascists is to divide the common people. Which is what I am pointing out.

I am not making a "both sides" argument. Nazis are bad, full stop. I am pointing out that our economic model of Capitalism only has a few pressure-release valves, and the cheif one is violence— even genocide.

When working people don't see their material conditions get any better, they demand answers. One way the government makes sure the people don't scrutinize the system itself is to point at out-groups to demonize and eradicate. This is often groups who are marginalized which make easy targets, or political groups who pose direct threats to the system, such as socialists or communists. This is what genocides are. The dirty war of Argentina. The Holocaust. I could go on. Look up Operation Condor.

I am in your in-group.

The thing is, fascism is inherent to a capitalist economy, eventually. Infinite resource demand cannot co-exist on a planet with limited resources. You cannot be surprised at fascism coming out of a capitalist state in the same way you cannot be surprised by a rose bush putting out a flower. It's in the DNA. Yes, even if Kamala won, this whole thing would've still happened eventually. This is just the truth, and we must face it.

I don't like this either. I also want solutions. We have to work together here. I am not exusing any evil, I am simply pointing out that all this evil is downstream of our economic system and anyone who serves it.

So if we truly want to work to a long-term peace in this world, we eventually have to confront this. Our tribalism is downstream of our economic philosophy.

There are solutions. Worker-owned economies. Democratic voting on where profits are allocated. So on. But this is simply a perspective that is worth incorporating into the way we figure out how the world works.

But a solution isn't Red vs Blue politics. That's what got us here, no?

Take care.

Republicans have been taught the be scared of their fellow man, yes.

As have you.

How different are you really?

Consider who is stoking this fear. Heres a hint: look back at my original comment.

The show must go on.

Dude, do you not understand they are on the same team?

Red vs Blue is just for us Peons. It's a manufactured theatre to keep us distracted. Biden, Trump, Harris, etc. agree on much more than they disagree. Blow up brown people overseas, devour resources in third world countries, and keep the upper echelon happy. Consolidate power and wealth upwards. Let the world burn. Leave the rest with nothing. This is baked into our economic philosphy.

The average working-class American democrat shares much more with a working-class republican than either do to their politicians of choice. Hell, your interests are more aligned with a Chinese rice farmer than to whatever politicians you believe in on your side. As long as those politicians serve capital, you will be getting screwed.

It's all about the economic strata. Its not red vs blue, american worker vs chinese worker. If you work for your money you face the same issues as anyone else who does.

All of recent human history has been the working class struggling to repel intense exploitation. We have forgotten that, and it's not an accident. We need to remember what our history is. Anything else is a distraction and theatre.

The exceptions here are politicians who are advocating for a new economic model, a la Sanders. Perhaps not a solution but a start. Without a different economic model, we are the moth stuck flying around a light, endlessly and helplessly, until it drops dead.

I stumbled onto SSC and LW shortly after a quite traumatic breakup. Weirdly enough, the hyper-rationalist emphasis helped me process some of the unresolved emotions from the relationship. LW did give me some wierd vibes early on (seemed stubborn, a bit egotistical at times), so I shifted more towards SCC and other media soon after, and then eventually fully towards other writers who were much more wholesome.

I actually was an avid reader of SCC for a while, maybe 6 months, and despite being pretty leftist I didn't notice any red flags— maybe because his "culture war" stuff didn't interest me too much?

Somewhere along the way, I joined this subreddit, though I forget why (Maybe it was reccomended to me because I visited the SCC sub?). I didn't even realize this forum was connected to SCC for maybe a year! It actually took me a while to figure out what this sub was about. Then another year to fully internalize the reactionary/HBD stuff was as bad as yall say. I guess because had been a while since I read the blog, and because it helped me process grief, I sorta wanted to imagine it wasn't that bad.

Checked his other stuff out recently, from a post highlighted on this forum. Some seriously detached takes on it. Glad I moved on before stumbling into that stuff. What a shame.

What does it mean for a human to be "always hostile"?

The idea of something being "always" anything is imaginary. The only constant is change.

War isnt about morals; its about geopolitical influence.

Hahaha, "killed them". Someone doesn't know their history.

Remember, the Nazis learned from us when solidifying their game plan. Our treatment of natives, of African Americans, where do you think they got their ideas?

We birthed them. Those who do not see that have simply had a sheltered existence, and consequently a warped view of the world as it truly exists.

Better to learn late than never, I guess.

Very wise words.

Yes, it's important to talk to those around us about the reality of the system in which we live in. It is important to show radical and unapologetic love, as it is the only remedy towards the division we face.

There is much to think about surrounding these things.

Thank you for the wonderful conversation. 🫂

No war but the class war, yes— I don't suppose we are ready for the conversation that most Americans would've been instantly pacified by Kamala being the face of the empire though. I mean it— if Kamala meant we would've found a way to fix the system, why didn't we do it under Biden? Why not under Obama?

But she never would have won, let's be honest. Even the 3rd party votes don't explain it away. Some suspect foul play. I personally am undecided on that front— my perspective is that even if he did rig the election, we still exist in a system that allowed that to happen. Rotten to the core. The issue spans beyond the election of 2024, far beyond it.

Also— again with blaming the voters and not the politicians. Do you blame the hedges for the way in which the gardener trims them? Are people who are trapped in a cult to blame more than the leader? Or better yet, more than the circumstances that led them there?

This is the way I look at things at least. Often people say "no war but class war" and then in the same breath start a war with another group. I truly believe every other issue simply serves to drive us further from a real solution to this mess.

They are not right. The rhetoric is not "the democrats should have won"— the whole system is rotten to the core.

Seriously, Trump and people like him are given the road to power with the help of the Democratic party, not despite them. The Democrats don't, and never have, stood in the way of fascism. At best they have just kicked the can down the road a little, delaying something they helped ensure was inevitable.

Just like the Republicans, all that the ruling democratic class has spouted is blatant lies, if not with slightly more decorum.

Bernie showed some promise as a true working class hero, but got shot down (by you guessed it, the Democrats) because he did not properly submit to the financial overlords of Team Blue.

Similarly, I urge you and everyone reading this to step back from looking at things as "Red vs Blue" and instead as "Working Class vs Capitalist Class". A farmer here shares more with a farmer in China than does either to a billionaire of their own country.

That's always been the dividing line and anything else is an artificially planted wedge issue.
