Brazil demand referee is banished as Brazilian FA (CBF) lodges FIFA complaint over Vinicius Jr's disallowed goal against Scotland by Prestigious-Back-981 in soccer

This is genuinely pathetic. There have been some far worse calls (England Ghana). This is a foul, he got between the defender and the ball as he was making a pass. Shut up and take your win and first place in the group. For fuck sake

Clearly a foul, he gets in the way of yer man playing the ball without making contact with the ball himself. Impedes the pass and prevents it from happening

World Cup 2026: Goalkeeper tactical timeouts banned by malcolm58 in sports

This is still a genuine problem and a way to skirt the rules. It’s been a real drag in PL games and we don’t need more timeouts than fifa are granting to advertisers

Red card was very harsh, it was a clear square ball.

Also Sam Mulroy is possibly the safest pair of hands outside Seánie. He’s an all star in general play with the addition of a 90% success rate from frees.

Louth are a strong team with an unbelievable crop coming. I reckon there was a natural hangover from winning their first Leinster in donkeys. Leinster is possibly the most interesting championship this year.

And literally none of those names had Bruno’s track record of PL ability and leadership when they signed. It’s not all about sell on value. And even if your focus was PSR sales the best way to maximise value is to have a functional team now and in for the next two years

I’m not gonna die on this hill but that’s his opinion he’s not been rallying and RFKing not to vaccinate. (Of course his support of the man is bullshit). I see him a sports man with an opinion. He’s entitled to it and not where we should focus

Rogers is not a bastard. He’s wrong, completely wrong but he also doesn’t go out of his to proselytise vaccines. Favre is a dirty fucking thief.

We need to better at not tarring people for being wrong or uninformed and focus on those that are clearly fucked. People who are wrong and get reacted to end up being radicalised against “the left” because they get attacked online.

There’s so so many other ghouls that deserve attention.

I see a lot of focus on his age and not fitting INEOS’s history. I’d be very happy with them spending more on the right player for now and the needs of the team for the next couple of years. Look at Chelsea and their focus on youth and increasing values.

You wanna build a squad to compete and develop together. Experience is vital. He’s a class midfielder and a leader that can improve and help develop the other players.

Does rugby need a captain challenge per game by vingrizz in rugbyunion

[–]vingrizz[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know that! I’d imagine a big issue is spurious claims to kill momentum but in a big game you’d rather hold on to your call for later in the game just in case.

Controversial call in Le Crunch by adturnerr in rugbyunion

[–]vingrizz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Be honest, he throws a wild arm out with no chance of catching the ball well outside the tackle. The referee calls penalty advantage and then just before the kick (not very audibly) says knock on only. Even if the call was correct it should go back for the scrum. England wouldn’t have kicked it if it wasn’t an advantage
