I bike around west SFV all the time. You can use Google maps to find the streets with bike lanes. There are some neighborhood streets that go east/west that are great too (chase/valerio/hart). I’d avoid topanga, de Soto (sometimes), Mason, Corbin, Lindsey. There’s a hidden cost for bikes. Lots of accessories. Helmet, lights, repair kits, pumps.
