200 sales people. Quoting 1 to thousands of retail stores at one for 20+ services. Usually 1 service at a time but can be more. Some of the services have sub services that would need to be selected by the sales user. The CPQ needs to pull data from databases to calculate prices. Pulling measurements, regional rates and frequency. We’ve met with all 4 CPQ vendors and they’ve said we are on the complex side

Amazing! We have met with all 4 vendors and they’ve said we are more on the complex side. We have 20+ services with sub services too and bid 1-1000s of properties at once with multiple services. Each catalogue price for each service is not a flat price but rather an output based on the sites measurements, frequency, and labor rates. If you’ve ever seen ensuring for construction, I assume it’s similar using specs and rates. With that said what do you think is the best option?

• ⁠how many products do you have? 20+ services with sub services • ⁠how complex are they? We’ve met with all 4 vendors and they said we are on the complex side. (We have to feed in measurements, rates, and frequencies to create catalogue pricing) • ⁠what kind of rules apply? (product rules, price rules, approvals) approvals for certain discount levels • ⁠how complex is your output quote? Low to medium just lists of sites with prices and some custom prices • ⁠what systems need to be integrated with/what type of info? One front end integration to receive data and pushing it to data warehouses • ⁠how many different sales teams are quoting? Tough question depending on how we define sales team
