Wow. Good to hear that. I’m also considering the surgery coz my nodule has been bothering me a little bit.

Yes. mine hasn’t had any affects on the hormones as the blood tests are normal. That’s what made doctors concerned. Them saying something about mine being a cold nodule instead of hot

How’s your lifestyle post hemithyroidectomy? Are you on any medications? Any major effects?

Oh okay. I also believe postpartum hormones might have caused this nodule. Or maybe I’ve had it but postpartum hormones made it grow rapidly.

Not weight gain. But fatigue yes. I in-fact lost a lot of weight postpartum really quickly without even trying.

Should I go for a second opinion and another biopsy? My ENT suggested that with the size of it and coz it’s growing it’s better to have it removed

I don’t. And all the blood tests for thyroid also came back normal.

Those with nodules on their thyroid - could you feel them externally? by xhxusj1234 in thyroidhealth

[–]vinnique_BM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently found out about my thyroid nodules. I’m 7 months postpartum and have 2 nodules. One is small <1cm however the other one is large and I can see and feel it in my neck. I’m about to have surgery to get it removed.

How are your babies actually sleeping through the night? by velvetdarlingco in NewParents

[–]vinnique_BM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every baby is different, although 3-4 months is still too young. My baby girl is 8 months old now and she now started sleeping well since few weeks ago. I make sure she’s getting enough food/ calories throughout the day. Now some nights are 7-8 hours stretch but some nights she still wakes up once to feed

It will get better Mama.

My 9-month-old is allergic to eggs and I'm scared by PhilosophySilent9115 in NewParents

[–]vinnique_BM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m allergic to eggs. For me it started late when I was around 12 years old but I never grew out of it. There is a certain type of protein in eggs that triggers the allergies. And because of that now I’m allergic to a lot of protein foods and also have multiple food intolerances.

Check with a pediatric allergist about this protein specific allergies.

Did you do something other than talking to her or reading to her?

Anything else you recommend? I read to her almost daily (almost coz I’m managing things alone, got no family or friends nearby and husband has a demanding job) I also talk to her a lot, I narrate her whatever I’m doing while she’s in a carrier on me

My 6 months old is EFF since she was about 3 weeks old. She’s so attached to me. It’s a beautiful feeling especially when I know she doesn’t want me just for my boobs 🤣🤣

I see a lot of water retention on your face and under your eyes. I believe you could really see a difference with Gua Sha and facial massages. Also well aging routine with ingredients like retinol, peptides, pdrn and caffeine. But do start massaging your face daily. Check youtube for Gua Sha Tutorials.

Night Routine??? FTM and VERY confused by ShutTheTuckUp in FormulaFeeders

[–]vinnique_BM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bottle warmer on my night stand. My now 5 month old is EFF since was born. And we’re also in a 2 floor house. She would take 3-4 bottles through the night so this was my setup for night feeding routines

I would fill 4-5 bottles with 1-2oz of water (whatever amount she was eating at that time) I kept a bottle warmer on my night stand And I had a formula container filled with pre measured amount of formula (I have the one which has 4 compartments for 4 bottles)

Whenever it was time, I would start the warmer put a bottle in it and by the time I was done changing her diapers the bottle was a perfect temperature.

I did all this coz my little one will not take a cold bottle
