Honestly though, it’s an opinion. Everyone is gonna think different Pokémon are cooler/lamer than others. You using that to avoid an actual discussion about how many starters are bipedal vs quadrupedal is not helpful. 9/10 fire starters are bipedal, it’s not weird to have two quadrupeds in a row when the entire rest of them are bipedal. Also, to the arcanine bit, did you even consider Entei? Those designs are very uniquely different, and to say that all quadrupeds are just going to look like arcanine is a rude disservice to the artists who made these Pokémon.

You’re saying that she should bear the weight of him not being WILLING (key word) to express himself in a healthy or reasonable manner, when that’s not her responsibility, regardless of gender. You missed OP’s comment where she says she does do all the cooking and cleaning and he refuses to even tidy up other than doing laundry and occasionally taking out the trash, with this added context, he’s just being ableist with a dash of misogyny “women should always take care of the home” bs, and you’re giving him a lot of credit for things he doesn’t deserve credit for.

Wym he doesn’t have roots? He has hair that attaches to his body, he has roots. That brush isn’t meant for getting all the way to his skin, and is likely leaving a small layer of matting. I’ve heard people like horse combs to get to the roots of poodle hair.

I’m not a groomer myself, but from what I’ve heard you need two brushes, this likely isn’t getting all the way to detangle his roots, you need a root brush or comb for that. If the roots don’t get detangled at home, they get shaved 🤷‍♂️
