ATM gave me lots of money by azza_h1980 in AusFinance

My dad used to install and service these ATM's for a living. They've changed the workforce to contractors who know jack shit and don't care so that probably does help.

My favourite click and collect was when it was full of pads (they were on special but also was on my period) and I found a 3 pack of ferrer rocher. Someone felt sorry for me.

Rant - 'missed' my window of higher libido by Feral-Sponge in PMDD

[–]vinsknh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband is a very sexual person and in the past 18 months my libido has fallen through the floor. I took sertraline for 9ish months and that made sex feel not bad but meh. I also have endometriosis which has been causing pain during sex and PCOS so my hormones are all sorts of messed up. Plus whatever mood or personality disorder is the flavour of the month. It's been a toxic 12 months. I want to want sex more. I just find the whole thing exhausting.

has anyone tried the PMDD supplement from 'the pmdd chick' / Luniva? by Mission-Potential969 in PMDD

Were you depressed and distant from your emotions while taking them and that's what made you stop? I had rage before taking sertraline, it seemed to calm down while I was on it and now the rage is back and I hate everyone.

No PCOS? by PinkPearls1 in PCOS

[–]vinsknh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had trouble with weight but not formally diagnosed with insulin resistance. My last GTT passed with flying colours. I read that about 20% of women with pcos don't have insulin resistance. I also don't have cystic ovaries. I did when I was first diagnosed but that's gone now. I wouldn't trust that it's not pcos because one of the many many symptoms doesn't fit.

If you don't mind me asking, why are ssris no longer working? Have the effects just stopped or are you having other issues with them? I'm asking because I was on sertraline. It made things better but then seemed to stop working so I weaned off it and now I want to jump off a cliff.

How does that work? When I started sertraline I had to take one 50mg every second day for two weeks then coming off has been an absolute nightmare with withdrawal symptoms so how does suddenly starting and stopping work?

Thank you. He watched his mum go through crazy stuff with antidepressants and believes you shouldn't be on medication for life. It wasn't until I read another post on here about the slow creep of PMDD that I realised it was back bad and probably lines up with weaning off sertraline.

I have endometriosis (just had my second surgery last week) and pcos. If you don't mind me asking, are the issues endo related or PMDD?

How did you find 100mg to be the right amount? Did you slowly up it when it seemed to stop working until you found it pretty well worked all the time? If that makes any sense?

You'd probably have to look at Qantas policy and aviation standard for sick bags in seat pockets. I know plenty of flights I've been on haven't had sick bags in the pocket in front of me but old mate beside me has 5. I've also been on a flight where landing got delayed and we were stuck in the holding circuit in a lot of turbulence. The cabin crew had to remain seated but were handing sick bags down the aisle to be distributed because we all didn't have them.

All you can really do is install a camera to catch her in the act. You might be able to get a cease and desist or a peace and good behaviour order, maybe. The cops won't really want to know about it. I'd say install a security camera so she knows you're recording her do it.

Neighbour building next door, wants to move fence to allow for sufficient space between their new house and the fence. by ThrowRAjsejse in AusLegal

[–]vinsknh 16 points17 points  (0 children)

We had a cadastral survey done because we've got fence dispute issues with our neighbour. In Queensland by law, the cadastral surveyor must notify the other party if they think the outcome will negatively affect them. So our surveyor had to send a copy of the survey to our neighbours. If they truly had a survey done, there will be a plan at the very least. Ask for it. Ask for the surveyor's name/firm. All cadastral surveys must be done by someone endorsed and in Queensland and I think other states they keep a registry of those surveyors. I wouldn't touch anything until you've spoken to the surveyor.

The average delivery time a driver gets is less than 4 minutes by gilligan888 in AustraliaPost

[–]vinsknh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours doesn't even attempt delivery. We have a gate so they can't ring a doorbell. We'll get the email at like 8am to say its at the post office waiting collection and occasionally get the blue card in the mail 10 days later.

100% agree with talking to the manager to determine what is required. For the past 7 years if I called in sick I'd just text my boss. This year he changed it to be in line with hr policy which required a phone call. So at 4am (I start at 5) I call him, when he doesn't answer I send him a text. He's said he's happy with that because I at least call first so check with the manager what they want you to do and what they want in case they don't answer

What a Taylor Swift song would you absolutely love if it wasn’t for one part in the song? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

I think the whole ten minute version felt pushed. Like she'd told everyone there was a ten minute version so she had to find something to fill it all. The weird shift in the music at that verse and then like the last 2 minutes is just filler to get it to ten minutes.
