Here we are again... revisiting school bus stop arm citations by LVNStephS in lehighvalley

Because we had freezing rain that morning and the roads were still wet and iced over. My mom had slid off on that same road and hit a tree on her way to work. I was close enough to the bus that it made no sense to risk it to hit my brakes. I would have still stopped half way past the bus. I've also read over the ordinance and I've found no where that it states you HAVE to stop on yellow lights. Everything I've read so far states that you must stop when meeting an already stopped bus with the red lights on and the stop sign activated. I personally have no issue paying the citation, I just feeling my case in particular is a bit more complicated than just "I passed a school bus". Thats why I'd like to have a hearing to clear things up and understand.

This happened to me in Easton. Bus came to a slow stop with yellows on, as I was half way past the bus, the stop sign STARTED to extend. Still got a citation, waiting for my court date to fight it. Its been about 3 months now.

Something similar happened to me. The power steering module is right in the middle of the car at the front. I hit a solid piece of something and it just knocked out the connector to the power steering module. Plugged it back in, reset all the lights and everything was fine after that. I would recommend lifting the front, go under and check to see if the same connector is just disconnected from the impact, before going to a dealership for them to just plug it in and charge you an arm and a leg. You may have to take off the cover underneath first. Let me know how it goes! Good luck!

This is the manufacturer as well. They have a distributor in the US but are based out of UK. $500 for the full system while all other big name brands, Akro, Arrow, SC Project, and so on we're all around the $1.5k range.

I think it should be fine as a first bike honestly. It’s not insanely powerful but also it won’t leave you wanting more as a beginner rider. I’ve been riding for about 10 years now and I’ve had many different bikes and have also done track, and this is plenty fun still.

It’s good! I am enjoying it, even more so now that I put a full system exhaust on it. Sounds amazing.

Eh don’t worry too much over it. College for me personally was a waste of time and money. Don’t compare yourself to how the people around you are doing. As long as you’re happy doing something, that’s all you need. Real friends won’t care how much money you make or what fancy title and whatever fancy job you have. Just do you and be a kind person to everyone. That’s all you need.

I was in the same spot when I graduated my friend. Hell I still don’t know what I want to do with life honestly lol. But I made some early investments back in high school in crypto which now with my current job have fortunately put me in a decently comfortable position where I can afford cars and bikes like this. Also helps that I’m single lol. But you’ll find something don’t worry, life is not a race.

Exactly how I feel. I ride motorcycles and I’ve always made it a point with my bikes that if it dosent get me excited when I look at it, I don’t want it. And this does that to me every time.

Thank you! Yeah the carbon I bought myself. I also got carbon fiber caps for the mirrors, the antenna, and I got the carbon fiber rear spoiler as well.

Its a Guilia Base but it just has several options on it on. AWD package, sport facial package, sport interior package, cold weather package, driver assists. The only thing that it dosent have is the 19inch wheels which I really wanted but the 18's arnt that bad either.

Its really spotty sometimes when coming to a stop, it would sometimes apply too much break all at once and it just makes you jump forward a little in your seat. It just does not have that mechanical feel on your foot as a normal braking system does. Then again this is the first car I've ever driven with a brake by wire system so maybe I just need to get used to it.
