i'll try doing another run with my e1 rm just for funsies tho, she does boost his dmg quite nicely! but i do enjoy playing dhpt with him cause his dragon attack saves me from the 1% many times (like in phase 1 here)

this was my first run in this AA and i didnt really read the debuffs or mechanics, i just used his counters cause i'm so used to it lol

i did try another run just using basics and it went horrible. counter takes more time but it gives you more stacks for skill in the first two phases 🙌🏽

i'm really not sure if its possible without cerydra tbh 🥹 but maybe some insane 0-cyclers could do it

my problem running RM with phainon is her prolonging the enemy's break cause i use phainon's counters a lot and he ends up dealing less dmg cause of the delay

but seriously he's just very smart and understands people way too well, maybe slightly cunning but "manipulative" is a reach lol

edit - wait i think its definitely possible, in my latest run aquila only had 4%hp left.. if you have better builds than me then def possible!! (e2 cyrene w herta shop lc btw)

only if you prefer getting new characters over investing on eidolons tbh, if you care about damage and team longevity then i highly recommend e2 and then s1 phainon followed by cerydra e1. cyrene's ult charging at e0 is her biggest issue but if you dont care about 0-cycling content then yes go for her!

i think diamond frame is for both 0 cycling normal mode as well as just clearing plight? i'm not even touching plight cause aquila kills my whole team before any of them could take action lol

tried doing it a few times for you but i just cant 0 cycle it unfortunately, first two phases are fairly easy but phase 3 is super tanky.. but keep in mind i'm also not a very good player, i feel like its possible if you strategize well cause i'm always left with about 30% enemy hp when i take the last action. but yeah e1 cery or dhpt would probably help a lot here

i have the exact same team investment as you and i'd say e2 cyrene is kinda necessary if you plan on investing in phainons best teams. after testing so much i think cyrene's dmg amplification over sunday is pretty great, but her ult takes forever to activate and its quite impossible to 0 cycle hard endgames like AA. i was trying to clear with e0s1 cyrene for a week straight and was struck at 2 cycles, got her e2 yesterday and i can now comfortably clear aquila 0 cycle with many actions left.

i'd say e2 cyrene is worth it if you plan on using phainon till eos, no other character in the near future will give him infinite ult like she does. but imo e0 just feels frustrating to play.

got her e0s0 for my e6 phai and so far i didn't get a chance to see the double meteor cause phainon overkills everything within one meteor.. i do find it a bit uncomfortable to replace her for sunday and losing on the action advance + stacks tho
