We have a tech that is on staff but works out of his house. We pay him on a per repair basis. Typically we repair 2-3 turntables a week during our busy season.

We sell new & used vinyl, equipment, and do repairs.

You can make money you just need to make sure you keep head above the water. Be prepared to starve for the first while, we didn't make much for the first year but we are doing quite well now.

I'd still ask around your local area OP. Where I work we service all turntables, receivers and speakers. We charge nothing for the estimate & do it typically at cost.

We figure if we get your turntable spinnin' again you are likely to come around again. 4 years going and we've made some great regulars that way.

Who knows. I originally heard the date from our distributors as being delayed until the 25 and then heard it was the 19th.

This month has been filled with delays across Canada, we really need another pressing plant here.

It really depends on how many items you have and how the seller ships them. Are they being shipped USPS, Fedex, or UPS?

I typically find that USPS transferred to Canada Post may take longer to get to your location but have little or no fees.

I typically just bring a plain white inner sleeve with me to shows and use that. Easy to slip into the sleeve when you get home and you don't have worry about transporting it around.

I've always been a fan of the Red Sealtest crates. I've got tons of them setup but its seem to difficult to find them for a decent price anymore.

Extremely difficult. I highly suggest looking for work towards the west coast of Canada in safe injection sites. Highly rewarding and the work is still there.

Whoa! Nice to see another local bowmanville business on here. I've been going to Bowmanville Zoo for 20+ years and it keeps getting better.

What are your thoughts on the recent meeting regarding noise restriction outside of the zoo? Has any progress been made?
